Excellent and very informative. When you mention Camera profiles around 2:45 being Sony. How does it recognise its from a Sony? Does it recognise the extension .ARW or does it only show Sony profiles? You mentioned in one of your previous videos that Sony has a slight green preference I think. Is this the way of countering this instead of altering it each time.

That was pretty helpful for 5 minutes ish. I never knew about the stars on the profiles; how useful is that little tip. Greens are always a pita, and I wonder if it's because of the preponderance of green cells in the sensor grid and using green for luminance. Where I live, green is mostly various shades of baby poo khaki, but still nasty and annoying to sort.

Awesome video as always Jess!! Super helpful tip. Up until recently I've always embraced greens and really made things pop with extra vibrance etc but more recently I've actually started calming things down using only the HSL sliders. I'm definitely going to try adding in a few extra masks aswell like you did see what I can come up with.

Another great video Jess! I agree that too much green can be painful :) I have got a weird question. What software do you use to preview BIG size photos when deciding what picture goes from your SD to your computer. So far I could not see the option to enlarge photos to see properly. I have a Mac and access to Adobe products. Ohh and thank you for the gear recommendation. Sony A9II with 70-200mm 2.8 GM II is a match made in heaven :)

I just really love all your tutorials, I don’t feel like an absolute idiot trying to follow them, as I do with others 😂 I do however have a question. I photograph my Dalmatian almost exclusively, and I can never get these kind of photos/edits right, since the green and yellow will reflect heavily on her. Do you have any tips on how to save those photos? Or if you could do a tutorial of a white dog and how you would fix the shadows and white balance? I’m really struggling and would love your input!

Funny thing. As a mainly landscape photographer I go outside to embrace (!) the greens. They change with season, daytime, weather conditions and so on. Turning the leaves of a fresh fern to a dark blueish green to me is like changing the dog's orange tones to a nice intense pink. :-)
