Skiing three different couloirs in the Jackson Hole backcountry, all three could kill you if you messed up on the way down. Part 1 of 3, a skinny couloir you have to make two small turns to avoid slamming into the wall with no chance of stopping mid-way.

The obsession with death in skiing honestly scares me. People are seriously out here like “this is a death defining run” while you catch an edge and slam your noggin too hard that could be lights out too. I know we shouldn’t hide the fact that we can die doing what we do but let’s not promote it and then blow up some spots. I’m just tired of crying at homies funerals.

I've posted a few to shorts, but luckily, I don't have many. I don't go to these lines and hit them thinking I can do it, I go knowing I can do it. Any skier that goes for the huck and hope, isn't around for very long.
