Nice job Professor Rich! Having had a miserable biking year in 2021 with two major crashes (and head injuries), I decided to up my game. Have mainly been working on cornering, braking and pumping per several past GMBN videos to great effect. Thanks GMBN crew!

Pumping for me, getting better but my timing is horrid

A series on Blake's recovery and rehabilitation both on and off bike would be really interesting! Hope he's recovering well 🙏

He's still very sore, but doing well! You'll be seeing him in some shorts soon 🎉

Love these instructional videos. I’d love if the title could have a difficulty score not unlike college courses, 101,102,…401,402… with 01/02 the basics of that tier and things like 289…a tier two but a specific nuance. Then you’d basically have a curriculum for every learner to track!

I’ll tell you two skills I need to work on are: cornering and using my dropper post (I’m new to it, not mountain biking).
@gmbn2 ай бұрын
You'll get better at both with practice! Here's a more in depth video about cornering 👉 kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKqncq2Qqc-sldE

Apart from that little jump they built, for me this is the real definition of freeriding 👊

😮 look at where to brake! Such an oversite and woops too late zone for me. THANK YOU.

Pointing at the right brake lever while talking about the front brake, so confusing for us on 5he mainland

Thanks Rich. Practice time for all of these is what I need. Also how is Blake doing? #ASKGMBN When is the shop going to get more of the Pine and Forest of Dean race tops in size large? They have been out of stock for a long time.

i saw you at fod around 2 weeks ago on Friday and you were shooting a video on what i think was a prototype 2025 orbea. I would love to see the video but i can’t see it anywhere. i understand it may not have been posted yet but please let me know if, when or where it would be.
@robertmcfadyen91562 ай бұрын
I have ridden a prototype bicycle , the rule with these is not to make videos public , just in case the design or component selection is not quite right . I keep quiet until it is "ready for the market" .
@robertmcfadyen91562 ай бұрын
Some 2025 bicycles are released in late October or early November the prior year . That Orbea MTB is likely a limited release model .
@jonagamez7072 ай бұрын
okay thanks, it’s just that i was in the vid riding and would love for a chance to be able to see it
@jonagamez7072 ай бұрын
@@robertmcfadyen9156one reason why i though it would have been posted is because they were taking to the camera before they rode and after, as if it was a video they would post so that is why i was somewhat confused.

Slow motion shots are cool, but it would be nice to also see what you are explaining in real time to get a sense of what it actually looks like.

Wery good recommendations, but maybe at first you will adjust the lanyard on your helmet before showing to us how to jump and turn.

Cheers for the concern dude. The strap doesn’t come over my chin and the lids done up so ain’t going know where. Maybe I was having a skinny face day that day 😂😂😂

Mines about that loose. Any tighter and it gets bound up in my beard.

The cool thing with GMBN is that the contents are predictable because they're redundant and come back the same every 3 or 4 months.

And you don't really have to be that good at bunny hops to make use out on the trail. I find it is actually quite rare for me to do a proper bunny hop on an actual trail. I mostly only do them in parking lots. On an actual trail, there is usually something you can ping off of to initiate the lift you want. But they are a great method for practicing bike-body separation which is a general skill that has many applications.
