In the first movie Godzilla destroyed the hope of the Humans. In the second Godzilla obliterated the technology of the Bilusaludo In the third he crush the fate of the Exif. In the end the real problem was the pride of each race that took them out. Only the humans learned to forgive and leave behind their pride. Haruo took the last remnant of the old humanity with him.

The Exif and the Bilusaludo serve as a foil to humanity if you think about it: The Exif went through the same path as humans and not only did they pay the price for it, they also continued their pride with their religious ways. The Bilusaludo are very prideful and arrogant just like humanity. However, they let that arrogance consume them and only rely on technology. Both races serve as what would humans become if we let our arrogance and pride consume us.

Godzilla was always meant to be the antithesis or the 'result of our hubris' type of entity. He is the mistake when you cross a boundary without any consideration for anything afterwards and each movie was one of those boundaries. Human technology created him when they didn't take the world into consideration, he obliterated the technology and the aliens. And then he crushed the religion of the elves.

The thing I most enjoyed about this anime trilogy, is it’s originality. There’s a lot of interesting concepts here. Course their use in the narrative and story can be pretty hit or miss

I usually focus on Godzilla and other Kaijus in the Godzilla movies, and rarely pay attention to human characters. But, I really love some characters in this trilogy like Galugu, Belube and Metofies. Also, I was fascinated by the setting of the story, too.

@@cupcaketf223 Ebirah is just a predator that hunts humans and Godzilla for no reason. Haruo on the other hand, he has more personality other than just his hatred towards Godzilla. He feels guilty over leading others to their deaths at the hands of Fillius and Godzilla, and even expresses this to Yuko and Metphies. He even had difficulty deciding to join Galu-Gu and consequently cause the earth to be assimilated with Nanometal or kill Galu-Gu and save Yuko, but consequently let Godzilla live. He becomes more depressed when Yuko was brain dead and now humans are avoiding reality and chose to ignore the truth because of Metphies. He eventually kills himself to keep Ghidorah and Mechagodzilla from coming back and to make sure humanity can live on with Godzilla.

I guess many people love monsters battle. But this anime has not monsters battle, so many people disappointed. However, remember first Godzilla in 1954. Is that monsters battle movie? Never. Here are my thoughts on all three songs: -White Out is my least favorite, but I still like it. It starts slow and picks up, eventually leading to a fast paced techno-pop sort of segment. Is good :) The Sky Falls might be my favorite non-English song. When I listen to it, I can feel the weight it Carrie’s with it. The chorus’s are epic and climactic, just like the end of the second movie. Live and Die is my absolute favorite, and one of my favorite songs ever. It’s in English, which makes it better. Every lyric and note feels majestic and powerful, and the choruses are the absolute best parts. They’re downright beautiful, and every time I listen to them, I feel like a god. So yeah, these songs are criminally underrated.

My opinions on these songs change every year, white out was my favorite originally but that was probably due to the fact live and die didn't come out yet and I wasn't willing to give sky falls a chance. When I finally listened to all three songs, live and die overtook white out as my favorite meanwhile sky falls wasn't bad but my least favorite. Over the years white out slowly became my least favorite white sky falls became my favorite while being somewhat tied with live and die for different reasons

So glad to see fellow fans of this in the comments. These movies were a divergence, but a fantastically beautiful one. I really appreciate how these films were done. Just superb. And I hear complaints about the cgi animations and I do understand. But even Blame!, one of my favorite mangas, had such aspirations in its vision of what it wanted to be. Same for this series. Animators have limitations. 3.0 + 1.11 even could not meet said aspirations without some cgi. Which is why I ask in retrospect to that fact: was this series not good? No, it was better than good. It went beyond expectations.

Bro this series had its ups and downs and gidorah was on a literal other plan of existence. But it all felt real right? In a way we humans think we can manifest things. And some cases some have. Kona Atiar, Godzilla Earth didn't die at the end of the planet eater movie. Only Haruo and his comatose girlfriend died. Did you forget that Godzilla Earth has a near impenetrable force field that constantly surrounds his body? Even if he didn't have his force field up, do you really think a crashing mech could kill Godzilla Earth? Godzilla Earth still survived in that continuity.
