Small town Kahuku competing with the best in the nation. Kahuku probably got the highest percentage of Tongans and Samoans in their community in the country, that's why they're always so good. Never have elite speed but plenty of strength. Always excellent along the lines but St. Francis was just a little bit better today.

@@beezytalkingshit9319 They don't play nationally ranked teams very often but I do remember them beating a very good team from Utah a few years ago and probably others but I don't remember all of them. They don't even play a mainland team every year. Also plenty of Kahuku alumni in college and NFL. Way more than most public schools. I remember back around the 90s they were tied among all high schools nationwide for most current NFL players with 5. Remember they are a very small community, per capita have some of the most talent, though maybe not total numbers.

Yup I would not be surprised if they had the most college/NFL talent in the country on a per capita basis. At one time back in the 90s they had 5 current NFL players, tied for most in the country. Crazy how much talent comes out of that small community. Maybe the biggest percentage of Samoans and Tongans in the country.

Football team as an overall squad kahuku doesn’t put out much elite offense players but they got some ballers on the defense side for sure.

Kahuku has been a hot bed for decades at one point in the early 2000s they had the most active NFL players they don’t recruit from Ha’ula to Laie is some of the most highest populated area of Polynesians I’d say in the world that is the reason why they are so good all they do is eat sleep pray and football

Yup I remember that, I believe it was 5 current NFL players at one time. Only place with higher percentage of Polynesians are some of the other Pacific islands like Samoa or Tonga. The Samoans in my school were huge. Their arms were as big as my waist. Like brick walls.

They still win but they used to sweep no mercy before. The private schools in Hawaii recruit now so the talent is spread throughout the private schools. But before they were all loyal to Kahuku. Ever since mantai and mariota and now tua made it is when they starting playing private school to get recognized.
