The buff still happen in 2022. I just used red mags awakened 4star. Buffs still cycled thru. Just don't parry him during power gain buff otherwise it's game over. Fight it the same way as on this video but watch the buffs

Unless you have skills to play quake and ghost they aren't good champs to the majority of the player base. So it doesn't matter if they can clear 95% of the game in the right hands, in most players hands they can't do shit. Magneto however can. Hence he'll appeal to a larger part of the player base.
