People sleep on the shadow’s captive damage boost. It’s not about the pet damage, it’s about getting captive to cycle to Bertrand’s next hero skill to boost his hero skill damage by 10%, plus 10% damage boost on all the other turns.

I honestly don't believe pets are worth too much investment. Pet fruits costing as much as maxed artifact but they make less impact is insane. It takes ages to build one three star, and they only give a tiny advantage. Maxed pets are basically for whale rally/garrison leads.
