We do not have any videos specifically on this topic. If the whole story, setup and price action is setting up for a buy and it looks ready, then you could enter before the news. Often times a news event can propel a trade as well.

Hi, can you please explain the importance of the rest, pull back? if the momentum is the same, but the pull back or rest is larger than the previous pullback (@32:40), as you said why is he resting so much?, does resting more compare to previous run's rest/pull back, is an indicative measure that things might start to turn? i see lots of runs where the pull backs often are more than the previous rest, however it doesnt go above the previous rest (ie. doesnt form higher /high) but the momentum for the following run is still strong. I hope this makes sense what I am saying.. or should I just concentrate on momentum dying out, regardless of the pullback as long as it doesnt form higher high in this example.

Yes, a larger pullback/bigger rest can be an indication that the trend is possibly losing momentum and could turn around soon. Navin goes over momentum in great detail in his course. Yes, you can. But most likely price will require news to move, cause higher timeframes need more activity to travel longer distances 😉

@@urbanforex ah....... thats true. Ok here is another question. In a daily down trend, When you gage the momentum in 4hr and you see that it is good for the sell. The roll over is happening after the dicount price and before the news event the market is ranging now. The news event comes and event takes the market to daily low quickly as the range brakeout make the market go nuts to one side. 1. Should you take a trade when you see the roll over and before the event and use the event as a way to ride the trend? 2. If you see that your market already has come to daily low. Yet your 1hr correlation ia down and market shows a dicount price for that 1hr/15min trend. Is it good to take that trade regardless you are at the daily bottom (in a down trend)? 2.

We shouldn't try to predict the news, as I'm sure you've also experienced it go the other way where it spikes you and then goes your direction, or completely reverses. If the news releases and the price just runs away - the Big Boys are likely also not involved in this move - it is the retail money that will be chasing. Let the Big Boy make his Call to the Banker 😉

Secondly most of the big moves in a currency pair during a week or a month has occured by news event. If you shouldn't trade news event. Then how can we joing that big move? There's definitely big money involved. However, in order for the Big boy to fill his orders, his needs to do it slowly, little by little. And if price slips like that, he won't get a chance to get all his orders. We also look for news events to trade, but at the moment news is released, we are extra careful, because price can move in any direction and easily hits a stop loss 😉
