Another great video, thanks! I think the market is over-heated. And I am concerned that people are focusing less on fundamentals and just chanting the mantra of dollar cost averaging and driving the market higher without considering fundamentals. It is a catch-22 for me. I mean I like stock prices going higher but I also hate buying over-priced stocks and ETFs. Personally, I have stopped buying growth ETFs- they are ridiculously over-valued. Dividend stocks and ETFs are a little better but they are still over-valued. There is some hope with small and mid caps. I am not sure they are undervalued but at least they are less over-valued..This pattern offers a valuable insight for strategic planning. Despite these trends, i have delve deeply into active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Renee Gilman whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

I think the key with all three of these companies is that none of them really have a wide moat. Investors like to pretend every stock they like has a moat. These stocks all rely on consumer sentiment more than barriers to entry.

Your graph indicates EL is expected to have earnings of $6.97 per share in 2028. If those earnings come true, at the current price ($106) this stock will have a PE of around 15. That would be a great buy for this A rated company with a long history of earnings growth. But it all depends on weather you believe the earnings predictions.

Regarding selling puts like your sofi example, does one's broker typically lock up that capital to ensure you have the funds to buy the shares if called? If not what's stopping someone from doing 5 or 20 plays like that?

"Selling a put option Put sellers (writers) have an obligation to buy the underlying stock at the strike price. The put seller👉 [must have either enough cash in their account or margin capacity to buy the stock]👈 from the put buyer. However, a put option typically will not be exercised unless the stock price is below the strike price - in other words, unless the option is "in the money." Put sellers generally expect the underlying stock to remain flat or move higher. Put sellers make a bullish bet on the underlying stock and/or want to generate income. If the stock declines below the strike price before expiration, the option is "in the money." The seller will be put the stock and must buy it at the strike price."

Yeah, I assume he's doing cash secured puts, which requires the money to buy the stock, to be locked up. That said, some/most brokers will still pay you interest on that money while it's locked up. If, for example, you have the money in a high yield money market account, you make 5% plus the put premium.

30 times depressed earnings....right? In 2021 earnings were $7.79 per share; 2022 $6.55 per share; 2023 $2.79; 2024 $1.79; so the question is what is the normal amount of earnings going forward? so the current PE is not an accurate way to evaluate whether the current price is overvalued or not...if they go back to earning 5 or 6 dollars per share; this stock will likely take off
