Great video as always. After years of practicing and trying to figure these sounds out I am finally at a point where I actually understand and "hear" the sounds of the different scales and modes! And I'm starting to able to apply them as you do in this video, though much less fluently. The one thing I have barely explore yet is tritone subs, though I understand the function and theory of it. Just gotta keep practicing!

What would you do if you were comping at a jam session but there was also a guitar player there? I've always seen the pianist sit out and hesitantly play a chord every 4 bars.
