Thanks so much, Paul. I've been practicing staff spinning for a while now and got pretty decent at it for just experimenting on my own and winging it, but you just showed me a new spin to up my game. Hope you make more stuff like this. Also been training Kali (as well as muay thai and kickboxing with a few other martial arts sprinkled in with my school's curriculum) for almost a year now, and Kali is my absolute favorite martial art. I appreciate you providing so much helpful information on FMA, it has been helping me progress a lot as I supplement my in-person classes with videos like yours.

I want to learn this because I have a cane. It is poetic in that I was injured and feel this is a better use for it.

I now also buy a 1 meter and 1.60 long pole. Because I always want to learn to deal with something new. This is the only way to learn ... Never stop, keep going and learning👍❤👍👍

I'd be sure to give these a try in my training. I've become good in using Kali sticks and knives, and these videos have been a great help to me, thank the Paul.

Awesome! I got it, and with my real staff not the PVC. I did hit myself in the hand, arm, leg, back, and the walls behind me. If I tried to do this in a fight, my opponent would be able to sit and watch me kick my own ass...but I got it.

How to assert your dominance and increase your social status Spin the bo staff every place you go, work, school etc.

I have a staff. It's kinda fat in the middle and smaller on both ends. Will this be a good training staff or should I use an old broom?

A tapered staff works. Train with what you’ve got 👍🏻

Bruises are part of it. You learn not to miss quickly . I know too. Slow till you have it then pick up speed I would suggest. Keep swinging 👍
