Gonna be honest, I stopped playing this game a long time ago. It didn't feel the same as it did when it first came out, and you're right. The company became too greedy. From rigged loot boxes to only give common items to the ever increasing pay to win, I was done.

I play Ldoe,more than 2,5 years, and right now, the biggest grind is actually grinding to achieve ATV, it's really hard. But, i think it's not a big problem, but big problem is , that the new updates, are empty and have to go out of heart, only for some days. No constantly locations, no Normal balance, like grenadier in shelter Alpha. Maybe I just tired for this, too old, too mindly-bones. I think that unless LDOE somehow changes its running engine, it's going to be discontinued in a couple of years. It had potential back in 2017 but now playing it side by side with frostborn it feels old, but not in a good way. So that's a final goodbye to LDoE, played it daily for a longer time than you lol, but I guess it's time for it to go.

Even worse pay walls, days of grinding and no combined singleplayer/ multiplayer. Who really wants to restart the game on multiplayer when they've dedicated hours to the singleplayer? Genuinely can't agree more with this video, especially the last part; Take the farm for example, we had free reign to record during the alpha and even post videos/streams, I've noticed since they banned this views across the board for the game have dropped, and you're right about the in depth guides being a bit pointless, I tried it for a few videos but like you, it was hours put towards the video only for it to never be watched a month later because it's not relevant to anything in the game any more.

The reason why I got rich in LDOE is because of you man. And now I am starting frostborn still watching your tips and guides. hope one day, kefir will realise that the most challenging and satisfying part of any survival game is by competing to an actual player, i quit playing ldoe a year ago because i lost interest to its concept of seasons and crater,. making progress with your main character in ldoe is already time consuming that require more grinding then they came out with crater.. PVP outside crater will bring back old players in ldoe.. imagine we are doing a clan war, create base with actual recruitment of members then you are all grinding together to develop your base, doing raids and protect base..

I tried this game quite some time ago, on first glance, it looked amazing. Discovering new items, leveling up, crafting, farming resources - it definitely seemed like one of the best mobile games I've played (especially given that the mobile game market is mostly just a load of low quality ad-infested, p2w games, which brings me onto the next point...). That is, until the progression started becoming slower and slower, to the point where you'd have to make this game a fulltime job in order to unlock and craft new items. A decent example would be how ludicrously difficult it is to say... assemble the chopper or craft steel. The mind numbing, almost impossible for f2p players grind absolutely kills the fun of the game as well as one's will to play it. The game has (or at least had) a lot of potential, but the greedy devs definitely pushed the monetization scheme too far to the point where trying to play the game for free, without spending hundreds of dollars of cash just feels pointless. Furthermore, they neglected the game in a sense that they barely ever push out updates, they "added" many features and items which aren't actually in the game and can't be used/obtained in any way (for example tungsten and titanium, items that require them to be crafted). TL;DR: The game has a lot of potential, at first glance it looks like an excellent mobile game, but the ever-increasing grind and the apparent greed of the devs say otherwise, as well as the neglect the game has received from the devs (very infrequent updates with little content, fake features and items).

I have played with you on 2 other games you covered over the years. It's a shame that Kefir kills it's own Golden Gooses. I refuse to play any game they put out. That AR game you showed with the wand looks awesome. I'm much more into world based games now as it gets me out moving. Another thing that looks interesting going into the future is blockchain games. i remeber watching u 2 years ago for some video on alpha but forgot the only main thing I remember about alpha is the hype of opening the chest in the electric room at the end of the run( no ticket system) and getting mini gun which was super hyper back then and also chopper tank too, good times that I will never forget about ldoe. i have recently just started played for a week and am level 41 with many guns,( still uses ur tips for grinding).

I started playing 4 year ago. Stopped for 2 years and just picked it up again a couple months ago. The game is fun, Ill give it that. And now i can grind again because im a little behind, but the reason i stopped is the same. This game will forever be in beta and the content you think is permanent, will probably change. Idk how many times I quit and uninstall it because of the greedy devs back then. I feel great that when I came back, the lowest money you can spend now is (for my currency) is 32 instead of 56 before. I'm a free to play player too and I feel thankful that they became less greedy now to those who wants to purchase their items.

Ldoe is a fantastic game but to play at an advanced level you have to buy and it is frustrating when you buy equipment that lasts only a few seconds of a potential clash. They could improve it a little to, for example, be able to repair equipment because a lot of players are leaving the game for this reason.

Gave up on playing the game after reaching the last level, maxing level 3 walls, collecting guns and all other resources. Feels like the game has been very boring at the very end. At first it was good because you get to grind for resources you need. But now, it doesn't feel the same. Seasons' rewards almost felt the same, the multiplayer aspect of the game wasn't what majority of players expected, etc. Saddening to know that one of the pioneers in making LDOE videos is officially taking an indefinite time out from the game. You, as well as other LDOE KZbinrs, will always be the best content creators of LDOE. 👍

It's true about them being greedy, I bought some stuff and died in Alfa bunker. As I was looting my body, it disappeared. No reply from them so I quit. It was my first purchase and I would have turned into a long time player but poor customer service + plenty of other games out there. Just one example of your point about how they could have been huge if they did things right.

Could you play dayZ? Lol just because i stopped playing dayZ after spending literally 1200$ just bought materials for building my own base, and guns because don't Have much type pushing for the bunkers.. i stopped right after the multiplayer became available just because the store thing and selling things kinda boring looting with a group is also kinda stressing.. i wanted to save extra money instead i bought dayZ game because it's very detailed.. if you want pvp there is that, if u wanna play alone it is possible and you can also rent your own server for really low price, the graphic and everything.. well for mobile users ldoe is good enough but don't spend your money.. you'll regret it. :) i still have ldoe on my phone but haven't opened it yet since last year april or may.
