something i learned as a special provision employee is that traditional tsp can be withdrawn from assuming you qualify for immediate retirement (25 years anyage or 20 years at 50) vs roth tsp you must wait until 59 1/2. again only applies to special provision like ATC, LEO.

If you contribute to the Roth TSP, will your contributions be matched? Or, do you only get matching funds if you contribute to the regular TSP?

Does it make sense to contribute to a traditional TSP and lower your AGI and then contribute your tax savings from contributing to a traditional TSP and putting them into a self directed Roth IRA?

Can you put a small percentage into both at the same time or is there no point in doing that
