Owner of many Clark’s shoes throughout my life, and also many pairs of the Wallabees. In my experience, these shoes fit true to your size. If you’re a 10 grab a 10.
@Eugenetra72 жыл бұрын
Can't agree, sry. I also had an have some pairs of various models of Clarks (not Wallabee), and their sizing is an absolute mess. In many cases it doesn't match the same size used by other manufacturers and even the older Clarks. They are usually a bit smaller now. And a half size+ is a bit bigger lol. Although a 10 year old pair is just right, exact size. And I've seen quite many defects lately (maybe that is just the local store, hope it's not the change of the company owner).

Always get the crepe sole. They are way more comfortable than the hard rubber.
@Eugenetra72 жыл бұрын
What about the durability? Is it the same as for standards soles?
@Libertà_sulla_vita2 жыл бұрын
@@Eugenetra7 id say the hard rubber lasts a little longer but not enough to not buy the crepe sole version. There are down sides to crepe. Its a true natural rubber so the bottoms will stain from walking around but imo the trade off is worth it. The comfort is similar to a adidas boost material. Not to mention any cobbler can resole wallabees with new crepe for pretty cheap anyway.

@@Eugenetra7 you wont be disappointed. Ive been wearing these since i was a kid. When i was in high school in the mid 90s they had a resurgence. The leather is always good quality and they are worth the money imo.
@jvnd278511 ай бұрын
@@Libertà_sulla_vita, crepe rubber is nice. However your statement "any cobbler can resole wallabees" is not exactly correct. Most cobblers will refuse to resole wallabees- not because they don't have the ability to do so but because it's such a pain in the butt. Wallabees are made of a single layer midsole and the rubber outsole is heat-and-glue-attached. It takes the nerves of steel to remove the used outsole. And sanding down the rubber outsoles *will* mess up the cobbler's sander-polisher! (I am a shoemaker)

Clarks overall has dramatically dropped in quality since I started wearing these in the late 90s. Back then, they were still made in UK (Ireland). Bought another pair last year and these "made in China" Wallabees are a pale copy of the original. Crepe sole is coming apart. New heal pad under the inner liner is just awkward.
@MrBjjackson111 ай бұрын
I have owned multiple pairs of wallabees and prefer the darker sole because they crepe sole gets dirty so fast and they are hard to keep clean.

Good advice. I just got my first pair (same ones in this video) and I had the same experience. I too usually wear a 10.5 or 11, and I went with 10.5 for the Wallabees.
