*Jackstands are the most under rated tools of any garage.* I personally know of TWO people who died in separate incidences years apart simply because they did not use jack stands; both were experienced mechanics I worked with who were doing something on their own vehicle at home on a weekend. I didn't know the ratings were per pair. That is a recent change to the capacity rating. In 2015, all jack stands are to be rated as a pair. Before, it may be rated as individual or as a pair depending upon the manufacturer. So, with four jack stands, you have a 12 ton rated set. But personally, I wouldn't go more than 75% of the ratings. Mine are old 3-ton, probably more than 20 years old. The label says to use in pairs only but doesn't say if the rating is for the pair. The label also says to not raise the vehicle with four jack stands (probably as the vehicle is raised, the jack stand can shift). In all these years, I've never read the label. I need to get bigger jack stands.

Greetings from India. Heard of you from Scoutcrafter. Loved your show on Knipex pliers. Am a big fan. BTW there are a pair of Craftsman screwdrivers on your wall. Looks like they are the ones made in Japan by Vessel. If that is correct then do you mind doing a review.

Thanks for taking a look at the channel and the nice compliment! Those screw drivers are Craftsman, but not sure if they are Vessels. They are Impact Screwdrivers designed to hit with a hammer. They do say they are made in Japan though! Here is a link to them. amzn.to/3DeIDUb
