NO....... Says this Irish American. Freshly drawn cold water - oxygenated. Boil in a kettle. Electric in UK, on gas stove in US. Pour over bags or leaves in pot to steep. Then pour out for a good cuppa. Microwaving in a mug with bag tastes awful. Maybe in college dorm, but.... You DO leave college and grow up.
