Context for the Leth vs Firstkiller match (for anyone who needs it): the format of that iteration of salt mine meant that going into that series, if Leth lost a single game then he couldn't overtake Firstkiller in the league play standings. He lost game one, making the rest of the matchup pointless apart from $100 and bragging rights, hence the clown car for game two, and some of the comments between them in the chat about whether the rest of the games mattered or not.

On the recent major there was also a cocky moment from vatira and he got owned but only the french could understand it. On the lower bracket, Vitality encountered KC and they went to game seven. Really important game. KC scores 2 goals without vitality scoring any and vatira screams at 1:45 or something like that " VOUS ETES OUUU ? " which translates to " WHERE ARE YOU ???? " Unfortunately for him vitality managed to pull it off and won this really important game.

I love and have been fans of each of these players at some point in my rocket league experience. It's not crazy at all. Squishy did it years ago, when GC was still the highest rank. He wasn't the first person to do it either. Now, you have people like Zineel who aren't super popular, yet easily 1v2 GCs. Lots of regular SSLs beat GCs in 1v2s. It really isn't that hard to beat GCs.... Proof? I'm GC LMAO
