Hi, the ring armour looks nice! If you still have it, how has it fared through the years? How did you like it?

My main weapon style is with two swords. I generally beat anyone in 1 on 1 fights. But its not easy, since your off-hand must be as coordinated. Thankfully I am ambidextrous.

Try using a dagger on your off hand it is a bit easier and try using a single edged sword it will give you a certain ease of movement

@@velazquezarmouries thanks for the advice. However, its taken me a few years to sort out what works for me, and what doesn't work for my opponents. My son has tried a stiletto with a sword, and loses.

@@BeingJapan I personally use a langes messer and a long rondel dagger

great tips and exactly what is was looking for. A practical way of dual wield fighting
@l0rf5 жыл бұрын
As a small addition, forrester access are way heavier than an axe made for battle. So you'd be at a massive disadvantage fighting someone with a splitting axe. It absolutely beats out fighting unarmed though. But it is definitely a good idea to utilize at least a stick. A solid branch can't be chopped through so easily and you can whack at the enemies exposed bits with it while attacking with the other hand.

You are absolutely right! There are big differences between those two tools. It was just for some examples or LARP-solutions to argue why are you good with something or why do you have this item

OK but, how do you defeat people dual weilding? x') Any tips AGAINST that ? My first thought would be, that some people always use one hand to parry and the other to attack, so I should aim in their dead angle ...

How useful would wielding 2 handed weapons like longswords be?
@StabStabMan5 жыл бұрын
Not very, longswords would be unwieldy and you'd have trouble swinging it accurately or quickly since they're made for two handed swinging. Better to go with something shorter for dual wielding.
@BuckyRaynolds5 жыл бұрын
biggest advantage of longer swords is the usage of lever principles...by using it with only one hand you loose this main advantage so it would be pretty same as using 2 ona handed swords
