Hi, I'm new to metal stamping, about a month, and I have learned alot from your videos. I do use the stamping guide stickers, it really helps keep my stamping straight. Haven't perfected the tilt n tap yet, so I always hit two to three times.

Does the thickness of the steel bench block make a difference? I got the 2 pound mallet and I still can't get a good impression with the design stamps. My bench block is pretty thin...less than a quarter inch. I have tried the tilt method as well. I am wondering if I would have better luck with a thicker block.

Could you make a video (or do you have one) of a double-balled silver wire that goes through beads or stones and through a stirrup or saddle (don't know what you call it) of silver?

Hi I recently bought some impressart stamps metal blanks etc.... I noticed the metal bending after I stamp, is there a way to make it straight again?
@beaducation6 жыл бұрын
Yes this happens as you move the metal. Use a plastic mallet and tap it back flat on your bench block. beaducation.com/p/18-jewelry-making-tools-plastic-mallet
