To upgrade Hero Abilities or "Equipment" in Clash of Clans, players have to Collect Shiny, Glowy, and Starry Ore. As a Free 2 Play player in Clash, this is starting to feel like an impossible task because of how slow the collection process takes. push to legends instead, so you get maximum ores. Drop below 5000 by taking a defence but not enough to get demoted (4900). This will allow you to go into multiplayer battles (allows you to farm) and get the extra loot bonus. Shield lasts 8 hours? should be enough to go positive in 2 attacks. Titan 1 is good too if your not as active and need more leeway.

When ore came out, we stopped the requirement of "all heros for war." Since the change, we're 6 wins - 2 losses. So it isn't hurting us really. Also, don't forget you can be in legend league *_without_* signing up for the daily 8 attacks dingus. You get the most ore that way but aren't limited to 8 attacks per day. To get into legend league, go just over 5000 trophies, the DO NOT CLICK THE ATTACK BUTTON. Instead, do a revenge attack and purposely lose after dropping a hero. This will bring you below 5000 trophies so you can't sign up for the league challenge dingus, but because there is a 100 trophy buffer before you drop out of a league, you are still in legend. So long as you always stay between 4900 and 5000 trophies after that, you will get the legend league bonus, but not be forced into the contest dingus. So really, just get as high of a league as you can and don't stop doing wars.

I would also suggest staying in titan 1 and pushing to legend whenever your daily bonus is about to activate. I’ve realized that at high town halls as a free to play player you are mostly just waiting on buildings to finish upgrading and farming isn’t that important because you will be able to get the resources easily before your 10 day plus upgrade is done. Just attack a few times per day and stay just below 5k and when you have the bonus available then push to legend league and don’t sign up because you have until 4900 to stay in so just remove your shield and wait to be raided and then drop as low as you can while staying in legend and then get your star bonus.

@@chadharpicenjoyer8591 i was using Queen charge hybrid but it's required a little bit of skill/practice to master. You can try super archer blimp. And for the training time, nowadays often there is some event which give you 30% training boost and use training potion along with this . And if you use the shield properly it will help a lot. Like, when the shield is about to end , attack that time as much attack you can. And leave it. Now you get attacked and get the shield don't attack now. When the shield is about to end attack.

​@@chadharpicenjoyer8591If you can, use 6-8 wall super wall breakers, the rest sneaky goblins. 2 jump spells, the rest haste spells, maybe a rage if your troops are lower lvl. Army is perfect for TH sniping and farming

As a TH12 I’ve pushed up to Champs 3, and will probably try to slowly push all the way up to titans. Just no reason not to go as high as possible, more ore is always better.

Having to compete in clan wars to get starry ore is one of the worst decisions ive ever seen supercell make It limits how players get to play the game and turns clash from a “play how you want” game to a “play how we want you to play”

Our clan have 4 top attackers and with full army we can 3 star any base so we take turn upgrading heroes since heroes take 8 days the transition of target is smooth, and the one with all heroes available will take on #1 and #2 while the other 3 crush the lower bases for perfect war

Now that we have the abilities as separate things entirely, we need a hero levels overhaul, the difference in 1 level is so small its laughable, 5 levels now doesn't make a difference but still takes more than a week to finish just ONE!

The problem about heroes is not solved with the potions. Maxing your heroes at TH 12-13 (the one I know the most now) is longer than maxing your entire village. So if you do not upgrade them continuously you end up stuck before upgrading you th with under leveled heroes. In my case the king has 20 lvl to upgrade and I'm already almost maxed. In 8 days I would be able to upgrade to TH13 if not my king and warden. My queen is maxed because I invested all my books and hammers in her.

I would just ho ahead and upgrade your townhall if everything else is maxed out. Having your AQ maxed is what matters most

heres a tip to reach more ores, join an FWA clan, my alt town hall 12 is making a lot more than a town hall 12 doing normal wars for 3 wars. FWA wars are BROKEN!

Yeah it feels like it diminishes the whole point of upgrading heroes, as well as encouraging rushing. Someone with a th15 can have a higher hero ability than me cause their blacksmith is higher, but their heroes could be 30+ levels lower. It’s goofy

I hate updates that go back to previous th and add something new. I maxxed everything every th. If equipment is available at th 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 then at all those th levels I would have gotten all the equipments and maxxed them. Yet I only have 2 per hero maxxed at th 13. The equipment is cool but I spent tons of time and even some money on upgrading my heroes to have them max and now they just aren’t max anymore when I didn’t even go up a th level. That’s fucked.
