I was always god of defending, even when playing in 10 Div in FIFA 20 when first bought it and started play FUT So for me defending was always so easy and I was nice at it but creating attacks and score was and still is my biggest issues even tho I’m in 2 Div now lol

I found green timing dumb so I turned it off. If you mess it up, you get a horrible shot, if you do it perfect, you get a slightly more accurate shot, but turning it off just is more consistent.

i use it so much. I play long ball so I player lock Mbappe as my defender has the ball and send the through ball up the pitch past the defence. Works really well unless they are back with a really far back defensive line

Try using it and then not switching, but continuing a run with the initial player after passing it off. That works too

I honestly think the greatest tip anyone can give you in order to be better at the game is learning how to be patient when you’re in the box.. timed finishing works great, not so well if your opponent is controlling his goalkeeper.. the rest of the other tips.. would work once or twice in every game you play, facing off against someone who’s great at defending, you will soon realize it

Playing Fifa 23 is like playing volleyball: You raise the level of the goalkeepers on settings to 100, narrow the defensive lines, and set up a ultradefensive strategy. Repeat those proceedings for your adversary and the match will finish with a score of 25-23. Defending in Fifa is not hard, but it is definitely defective whenever you are playing alone against the CPU.

It's called scripting & been apart of the game for years. They even have a game mode where it will automatically increase/decrease your players capabilities every time you score, it's on couch play think it's called powerball, only difference is your not aware it's happening in game in normal modes but the proof it can be manipulated is already there. It happens too me so much that I've just learned too accept it. If the game decides am not winning it will make sure my players behave like common bronze. You can still squeeze out wins but fuck me it's a chore & highly stressful!

I've been playing only vs the cpu or close friends for a while already. Rivals always block your balls, but when you are supposed to block or steal a ball, the physics don't work, rival players will just run through your players and goalkeeper, or the conection will suddenly "lag" whenever you are about to shoot at their goalie, for the conection to resume when they are about to shoot at your goalkeeper...
