Thanks for the great content as always. My great grandmother had no answer for my jab. I circled effectively, moved my head, and worked my way in methodically before throwing a lead hook for the KO

In my utmost humble opinion. What I truly appreciate is how “ integrate-able “ your overall approach is in regards to boxing as an whole, which enables practitioners to implement your concepts into their respective arts without compromising them, so one is able to interchangeably shift between one’s desired tools, may it be overall grappling/ takedowns, elbows, clinch tactics akin to Lethwei/ Muay Thai, kickboxing, even traditional trapping concepts found in Southeastern Chinese systems,ie Wing Chun, Preying Mantis, etc. “ Nothing more rewarding than getting ones thesis validated by those who exceeds oneself in excellence” An honor to be able to observe and learn from such an peer as yourself. Sincere regards. Fellow Martial Artist. Tom Framnes. Norway.

Any chance you're going to do a Q&A with Eddie? I'd like to know what it was like boxing Wladimir Klitschko, if something surprised him about Wladimir, what he felt was necessary to beat him (more power, more height / weight, more IQ, ...) and how he feels the ATG's would do against Wlad (like Ali, Foreman, Holmes, Tyson, Holyfield).

Excellent tips by Coach Anthony! Very important to bring the hand back after the jab for protection. I rewatched the Mayweather / N'Dou fight recently, and N'Dou was consistently getting hit by Mayweather counter right cross after throwing his jab, because he was reaching with his jab, and not bringing it back to protect his chin!

your videos are always top notch and I know that pushing with your punches is a cardinal sin in boxing but there is a time and place for everything and im giving you idea for maybe doing a video for when pushing with your punches is ok and sometimes even necessary. For instance somebody is pushing you back with a really strong high guard and your snapping punches aint stopping him or discouraging him. However, you use in a pushing punch where he breaks his stance and his lead foot goes backward now you can throw snapping punches taking advantage of his stance being off.

@eddievenuto1862 Жыл бұрын
Yeah you can't get too close you got to use your reach like your length when you hit a punch or whatever. Almost have to like whip your whip your Punch or whatever rotate your hip stuff like that have power from your from your foot all the way to your hips. And you don't want your I think you want your your face to be one side or the other side of the bag but yeah I know different things about stuff like that
