A little tip for people who have sliding doors: Put something sturdy, like a long pipe or a piece of the stick of a broom on the railing (I’m not sure if it’s called that) for as long as the door is closed , so that way, even if the lock is broken, nobody can open the door because it can’t slide to be opened. It’s a little annoying having to take the piece out every time you want to open that door, but I guess annoyance is way better than insecurity!
