Circa 1987, I was in a car with my mom and niece when a clown came out of nowhere and crossed the street we were on. The clown stopped walking, turned towards us and waved. My mom was honking her car horn for the clown to move. It was one of the creepiest things I remember from childhood.

Here’s a story for y’all: It’s based on a true story as it happened to me. Occurred on Halloween but I was trick o treating with my step mom and step bro and sister and my actual sister up in maple ridge and I was about 11 at the time. We were crossing the street when I noticed a clown with balloons just standing there still as a statue. I brushed it off as I was just seeing things and we continued trick o treating. After a awhile we crossed the SAME street to head back home and next thing I knew was the clown was gone. If I can recall correctly I’m pretty sure the clown was holding the free hugs sign. Though that was four years ago and it still bothers me today me being 15 now.
