Story 1 reminds me of something that happened at the library when I was around 14. My mum left me at the library as I asked, and gave me a couple of coins to call her at the telephone booth if I needed to be picked up. I was sitting at a table when a man in his late 30s sat next to me. He thought I was around 17/18 and asked if I'd finish school this year but I gave him short responses to avoid him. He then walked away and came back with a pile of books on accounting and english literature and encouraged me to read them, so I smiled, thanked him and avoided him. He then got on his phone and called someone, and began speaking in his native language. I didn't know what he was saying but he kept glancing at me every 2-3 seconds while he was on the phone. He then put his phone away and immediately asked me to go outside with him. I politely refused, but he insisted that the weather was nice, and that I should get some fresh air. I refused again and pretended to read the book I was holding. Around 10 seconds later, I looked up to see if he'd left and just when I thought he's gone, I noticed he was standing at a distance near the exit peaking through a bookshelf, staring at me. I looked directly at him, and he coldly frowned at me before leaving. I was shaking at this. I waited a few minutes to ensure he didn't return before I ran to the phonebooth and called my mother to pick me up. It's been exactly 10 years, and I have never been to that library since.

The second story reminds me of my cousin, his mom always told him to drive slower, and one day he got into a car accident and doctors couldn’t save him 😓
