The one that bothers me the most was when I was about 8, in 1989, when my dad and I pulled into a gas station on our way home from a late movie. Dad noticed three men sitting in a station wagon that was parked facing the store and the pumps, so he got the bad vibes and drove away. The wagon followed us through town, onto the interstate, for about five miles. He took an exit, which they did as well, and drove about a mile until he got to the state police station. The car did a u-turn and took off before we could get the cops. That incident still freaks me out to think about.

Especially if you see a random person just standing there watching you and then walking up to your car. Just go 🤨
@siobhan7157 Жыл бұрын
I don't drive through red lights just because nobody is around, that'd be stupid because there's always a chance a cop is parked in a darkened spot where you might not see them right away... Regardless, it's weird that they parked their car at a red light, especially with some rando weirdo staring at them. I have automatically locking car doors, but my first instinct would have been to double check as soon as he stopped in the road.

As someone who carries. It helps dramatically when you're driving alone especially at nights. I had a car following me for 10min-13min. I didn't mind it at first, knowing I'm well protected. But I was a few blocks away from my apartment. I entered in a lot that was part of another apartment complex and so did the driver. As I slowed down. I opened my window and shot one bullet near the woods but up in the air. That spooked the driver and that person sped off in a hurry. The only bummer about this is that driver had a black nissan altima 4 door sedan and that car is well populated around my area.

Keep your fucking doors locked at all times!!!!! Night or day. It’s not that hard of a concept. When you get in, immediately lock them. Make it a habit. That way it buys you time to get away. Leaving your house and just sitting in your own driveway still? Lock the doors. Coming out of a store to go to the next or go home? Lock the doors. Leaving work to go home or pulling into work? Keep doors locked. Obviously you have to get out to go into work or the store or home or wherever but a lot of these stories are always happening while the person is sitting in their car. If you have a 4 door car there is nothing you can do if someone is entering your vehicle and your in a different seat. Unless you have a gun but even then it’s awkward to aim in a car. Everyone should automatically be paranoid that people are out to get them. It sounds crazy but to be paranoid means to be prepared. Don’t let it consume your life but assume the worst and hope for the best.
@firestick4991 Жыл бұрын
I lock my doors. Car doors. All the entryways and windows at home. And I practice at the range. Stay sharp, people!
@Steve-xp8we Жыл бұрын
@@firestick4991 absolutely. I started listening to these horror stories online here on KZbin about a year ago. I found Mr. Nightmare’s page first and then slowly have discovered these other narrators as well. All good in their own way. Nightmare is my personal favorite but I’ve subscribed to almost every channel. Anyway, they made me more aware and alert. When I’m driving anywhere I watch to see if the car behind me turns with me, if I’m on my way home or anywhere really, if they do I start making random turns. I’ve thankfully never been followed but there have been times where the car behind me did follow me for 5 or 6 turns and it felt scary but ultimately I happened to go the way they needed also and it was own paranoia. But it keeps me safe to stay paranoid. Hearing these stories, I go home and check closets and open spaces where someone could hide to make sure I don’t wake up in the middle do the night with someone standing over me like I’ve heard on some of these stories. I double and triple check all locks on all doors and Windows when going I bed. I’m in the process of buying a gun currently and will make sure I practice frequently and make sure my wife or any family living with me does the same. This world is Fucking crazy. Sure, chances are nothing with happen to any of us ever but to be prepared just in case means to raise chances of survival if something in fact did happen. Be prepared, stay vigilant, watch your surroundings and stay alert!!!!
