I always think its strange how women convert their quick trip bags to a date night bag. If I'm going on a date night, I want nothing to do with my diaper bag or its items. I'm taking out my expensive handbag or clutch that I bought pre-baby days lol. A date night you deserve to take off your mom uniform and take out that luxury item.

Do the DD neoprene(?) backpacks pick up dirt easily? I feel like that fabric would get dirty & absorb things?

Just based on what I know about the material is it is finnicky. It pills and does pick up stains and good luck getting them out. However it washes easily, think of scuba suit material.
