What I don’t understand is how people always get skinwalkers and Wendingos mixed up like it really really erks me Skinwalkers are not inherently evil like Wendingos are but the people on KZbin and stuff like that give skinwalkers bad reputations don’t get me wrong some skinwalkers are bad like bad bad but they are essentially human Native American shamans who have gained the power of transformation into wild animals I believe that the earlier skinwalkers used their transformations for hunting down food for their tribes because it was much easier to find prey when you can fly and much easier to take down when you’re a wolf or a bear I’m from Oklahoma where every other city is full of natives I see them literally and I mean literally everyday I go out side and idk how true it is but my good friend her name is Candice she said her great great or great grandfather was a skinwalker idk how much I believe that but she swears on her soul he was and she said she actually met him when she was a child and that he was extremely nice to her and she said skinwalkers attack people when people are trespassing on their territory or instances like that but like I said they aren’t inherently evil they are just territorial and you may walk by skinwalkers everyday and not know it because they don’t kill for no reason is what she told me but she didn’t have a lot about Wendingos but Wendingos only go on a basic instinct and that is to feed because they’re constantly hungry for flesh but they never feel fulfilled and Wendingos are the big y’all slender creatures usually with dears head with long arms and are extremely strong and very durable and can take many rounds from guns before they run away but I just wanted to point this out because it bothers me so bad that people confuse these two all the time when skinwalkers don’t turn to hybrids of a human and an animal when people say I seen a human animal hybrid skinwalker that’s not a skinwalker that is a Wendingo skinwalkers are either human or animal no in between like I don’t know a lot about Wendingos but I know everything she told me about skinwalkers and another why does no one ever talk about the Stiganee’s I think that’s how it’s spelled but that’s probably the other thing people mistake skinwalkers for

to become a skinwalker you have to do something "evil" the most common evil act that meets the requirements needed to turn is kill a loved one.the ultimate betrayal.. so yeah id say most are evil.. and most real accounts are usually of them just fucking with people or trying to kill them for the hell of it. to kill someone you love for supernatural powers is pretty evil i think.. in my opinion.

Courtney Ryan idk like I said I just know from what my friend told me and she’s full blooded Native American as with damn near 50% of the people in my hometown here in Oklahoma and I’ve never ever heard about skinwalkers killing for no reason or not provoked for some reason I’d I’ve never heard of them having to kill one of there loved ones but I mean you could be right but I know a lot of them got their shape shifting abilities for their families and loved ones it was a means to help them search for food and hunt better and don’t quote me on this because I know that they are Native American Shamen aka medicine men but I thought that they pretty much had to make a deal with some spirit in order to gain the ability to shape shift and are you sure you’re not thinking of a (I don’t know how to spell it) but you sure you’re not thinking of a Stagenee or Staginy or however it’s spelled because I’ve heard about those and they are one of the evilest things she told me about she said they shape shift into Owls and stuff like that that’s why I said in my earlier comment like why does no one ever talk about them from what I heard they’re way worse then skinwalkers but like I also said you could be 100% right honestly I’m just going by what I was told by her is all but since KZbin and all this they’re making skinwalkers seem a lot worse then they really actually are and even if they’re bad or not all the stories from people who have no real idea about them paint them in a way worse picture then the actual are and another thing though is like I also said but skinwalkers do not have hybrid forms like a half human half animal form now Wendigos have half and half forms they may have the body of a human but the head and antlers of a deer or the body of human with some of the same characteristics as a wolf or bear ie fur, fangs, claws etc but again I can be wrong lol I’m being serious I could be I’m just going off what was passed to me through stories she would tell me is all the could be fairytales for all I know but sorry this is so long

House of Pain that last part is it pronounced like (sick-uh-knee) because on my Rez where I'm from my gram always tells me not be loud at night or whistle cause the sickanee or however it is spelled will get you. N I've heard so many things about this thing. How it'll rip out your hair if it catches you n will tear out your tongue. I've always tried to learn more about this but I could never get anywhere because I dont know how to spell it n no one tells stories because that's how it comes back.
