Question I heared three words for "purple" Púrpula Violeta Morado/a Which one is more common??

Great question! We also have lila. They are all basically different shades of purple. The 4 shades of purple. Lila is soft, then violeta is the medium, púrpura is a bit darker and morado y a sinónimo. En Latino américa se dice más morado que púrpura.

2:18 "The origin doesn't necessarily have to be" was correct the first time! Y sé esto porque mi origen es de América! (Y yo enseño inglés). Pero la palabra es siempre "have" cuando la oracion es negativa.

That's correct, the difference between plural and singular is reflected in the words "don't" and "doesn't". "Don't" is used with plural words and "Doesn't" with singular words.

jajaja no, no soy abogada. Soy profesora de español. In the basic conversation class were were playing roles and to add another vocabulary I said I was a lawyer and Brenda an accountant, otherwise it get a bit boring saying Spanish teacher twice. Thank you for paying attention to that ♥

If "El auto es de mi hermana" translates to "It is my sister's car" then how would you say in Spanish "The car is from my sister". Would it not be the same, with two different meanings. Perhaps my sister bought me the car as a gift and it is mine.

El auto es de mi hermana can also have those 2 meaning. Context can help you understand the meaning.

jajaja ohh sí, lo siento. Estaba por decir que no dijo que era un país, pero se da a entender. Definitivamente Africa es un continente no un país. I was saying that I was going to reply saying she surely didn't say that but it's definitely implied hahaha I'm sorry. Africa is not a country it's a continent, I second your correction. Going back to the lesson though, it's also possible to say you're from there with the same structure. I can say "soy de Sudamérica'. ¡Gracias por la corrección Joe!

Hi yah! I know this vid is two years ago. But saying the same thing in Spanish then in English makes my head hurt. I'm already in the zone in Spanish listening, then you have to say the same thing again but in English. I think that's veey inefficient. But I guess a lot of folks are liking that. Oh well. It's a free lesson. Can't really complain, right?
