I will be travelling with WP and as I would be staying in the Hotel for the first 3 days and post that some AirBnb for 11 days as part of mandatory quarantine. Is it possible to apply with in that 14 day quarantine period as we won't be having any address proof under our name..

Then I would suggest to wait for your quarantine to finish. And make an appointment service requeat, as I told in the video, for in person SIN number application at nearest Service Canada 2 days before your quarantine finishes. That would be the beat way

Earlier address used to be written on SIN, but I guess from 2020, they have stopped putting address on SIN. I don't remember about phone number. I guess it does not have phone number, as many old people don't use phone here

If you got your work permit, you have to go to Service Canada and ask to update the SIN number with details of work permit and you would get the end date of SIN extended to end of work permit

SIN number is valid for entire cou try, so should not be issue. Driving License on the other hand is at provincial level so you may have to change later

SIN number requires Study permit and that is something which you recieve at Canada Airport. So if you can find a way to get Study Permit in India then you can apply SIN online

You can book an appointment for Srvice Canada and go. Even if it would have initiated online, Service Canada and extract and pri t the SIN and give it to you on that same day of visit

1st you have to get 3 days madatory hotel quarantine at govt approved hotels. And then for remaining 11 days, you can search for accommodation on Kijiji.ca or facebook groyps of your college/area and get rental agreement or get AirBNB booked for 11 days.

In that case its better to waitvtill 11th day of quarantine and book an appointment with Service Canada on 14th day of your quarantine. Then you can get SIN on same day

Bank will ask for SIN for sure, so you should have taken appointment of Service Canada firat, then bank

I am actually not sure if we can because it requires Study Permit. If you have Study permit then you can apply for SIN online

Nope.. phone number you can get without SIN too and I assume only post paid would be option.. but if you need to buy phone on contract or post paid, then they would need credit history for that you would need sin number

If you have permanent address on where you will be staying for next 3-4 months, then sure. If you'd have to move then I would suggest book appointment for in person meeting right after you come out of quarantine and that way you'll get SIN on same day
