It depends on how big the audience is and what detailed targeting you're using. If you create a lookalike audience of your existing clients, and target that list, you shouldn't need additional detailed targeting.

I added custom short text form fields (Name and Email) as you suggested, as a means to receive the email adress that the user is actually using. Good tip! But I am not allowed to delete the pre-filled Email form field, just as you are mentioning in the video. So how do you solve having two Email form fields, one that is a short text answer and one that is pre-filled? That means that I will receive two email adresses?

Hey there! Yes, unfortunately Facebook not allowing you to delete pre-filled questions anymore is a new thing Facebook changed since this video was made. But I would still add email as a custom text question too, and you can just set your CRM to use the email address from that question, not the email address from the pre-filled one.

I added the email and phone and Facebook rejected my ad saying I’m asking for questions that can come from pre fill - is this something new?

prefilll questions are not completly gone when i add custom question i dont want prefill questions

Hey there! Yeah, unfortunately Facebook has updated since this video was made, so now you cannot completely delete all the prefill questions. But we still recommend adding the contact information as custom short answer questions.
