I created my first sigil as a baby witch with the first method and made my own circle. I took creative liberty and changed how the letters looked and it was pretty fun. It kept my adhd occupied for a good amount of time 😁

I have used all those methods but also one you did not talk about. I have used Numer squares for sun, moon, and the respective planets based on my intention. You draw it like you would on the wheel but after you cross out all the vowels and extra letters you make those into numbers using the basic Letters to numbers numerology method. It's a really nice way to draw on the cosmos and astrological energy for your sigil. I recommend it to everyone who loves sigil making.

The first, Witches Wheel, is more for me right now as I'm such a perfectionist with my creativity taking 2nd wheel (meaning behind). The first is precise for me, but I feel the 3rd way speakes to my creative nature. I'll have to work on that as said, my need for perfection sometimes interferes with my desire for flare! For some reason, the 2nd way just felt too complicated for me, I even began to feel frustration as you were working it. But I made notes on it anyway, I sometimes feel the need for a good challenge :) Thank you, Blessed be 💫☮💜

As an artist I find the third method way more liberating and creative I love combining and simplifying letters until I get to something that feels right, it's very rich yet deceptively simple. I do think the other two methods are a very good way to get started, push away conscious thought and overcome drawing insecurities some people might have.

I really like the numbered wheel for sigil creation. Ive always used the letter method and the process and final sigil for what ever reason always nagged at me. I always felt like my mind could remember the intention of the sigil at a glance with that method. I feel the overall aesthetic of the sigil is much more pleasing the process is much more fluid and with the number wheel i feel my mind can much more easily release the intention. thanks you for sharing.

If you use a sigil on a candle, coult you re-use it on the next candle you burn? Because you talked about releasing it into the universe. But for a protection candle for my home, I would like a set sigil I use every time. Or untill I feel the need to make a new one.

A long time ago, when the Earth was flat, and dinosaurs roamed the land, I created a Family/House protection Sigil. I have used it in a flower bed, on a wreath, and every Sabbat, I bake a round roll of bread, and put the Sigil on the top before baking. Long answer short: Yes. Yes you can.

Another technomancy tool i use the Sigil Suite app, in addition to being able to export it as an image, I can share it. Also amazing is the fact that you can choose a Servitor in the app as the background of your Sigil

When I looked up witched wheel template, all of them were different shapes and had the lines in different places making it so the letters weren't quite in the same spot, but still in the same order. I ended up just making my own. Do the letters and lines on the witches wheel have to be in a certain place or does it all work out the same?

why did you use 8 as the number? just curious. in my work, i use 1-9 like in numerology. i feel it gives more meaning to it. loved this video!

Good question -- I learned the 9 grid but I like the 8 (for power) better in this case, and it gives you a longer line at the end for more spread of the sigil. But for numerology calculations, I number letters according to the 9 grid.

What paint did you use to color the pages of your grimoire? It still seems easy to write on it even after painted!

I used PLAID Folk Art acrylic paint, with no dilution at all, straight from the bottle onto the page. Writing with marker after it is completely dry works well. Make sure it is totally dry though

Can I use sigils as a way to dispell something? Like, if I make a sigil for anger, can I then burn or destroy that sigil to get rid of my anger? Or do they only work in positive ways?
