Acclaim Extra is labeled for both. Goosegrass is a hard one to kill post emergent so getting on a proper pre emergent program is very beneficial.

Hello, thanks for pointing me this way! With Speedzone, do you just spot treat or spray the entire yard? I have < 1 yr old emerald greens lining my yard that I want to be mindful of. Thank you again for your help. Learning a lot!

It depends on the amount of weeds you have in your lawn. If you only have a few or they are localized to 1 area I will spot spray. If they are spread out across the lawn I would blanket spray them. As far as your emerald greens make sure you are applying under the right weather conditions per the label and use a nozzle that will reduce your spray drift just to be safe (air inducted nozzle).

What time frame do you suggest when planning to apply weed control, pre-emergent, seeding in bare spots along with grub control?

Grub control does not have an impact on seeding. Seeding and pre-emergent can not be done together, you have to pick one or the other. Seeding after using post emergent herbicide is going to depend on your product choice and can range from 14-28 days. Timeframe for pre emergent is based on soil temps 50-55° and post emergent can be done the same.

If you apply in March, does that mean you can't over seed in the April time frame? I have several areas that didn't come in nicely from my fall overseed that i want to get some grass in there.

It depends on which product you use. The label will tell you how long you have to wait before seeding. The wait before seeding can be from 14-28 days depending on the product.

For Baltimore region, which pre emergent is better Prodiamine or Speedzone? Lots of crabgrass & clover in my lawn.

@@user-tl7db3kt8l Speedzone is not a pre-emergent it is a post emergent meaning it only kills the weeds that are currently present in your lawn, Prodiamine is a pre-emergent. You can apply them at the same time but do not water it in immediately because you want to allow the Speedzone to sit on the leaf of the weed for about a day if possible.
