Generico is dead. Steen runs it now in honor of his friend. They had one final Guerilla Warfare Match to settle it once and for all, accounts differ on who won but after it was over they ran the orphanage together until the Mexican Mafia performed a successful hit on Generico. It was a sad day for both Steen and the wrestling world.

At that time, you had WWE, TNA, and ROH. WWE was WWE, TNA was WCW, ROH was ECW. ROH was the best wrestling show in the states at the time and it never got the spotlight that it truly deserved. It sucks that WWE took all of the former ROH talent and put them through NXT. Now Kevin Owens claims that NXT is his home, while in reality, ROH is his home.

@Edgy American I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. WWE never gave a single crap about TNA and they never worried about TNA topping them. They didn't care about releasing talent and them going to TNA. WWE never even counter programmed them once, TNA was trying so hard to counterprogram WWE and it backfired. WWE has only wanted to counterprogram two promotions because they felt threatened by their presence. I think you know the two promotions and TNA isn't one of them. TNA disappointed me when they started to go the WCW route of doing things. I didn't have a problem with them signing former WWE talent because it's a smart business decision, but when they started to just do that only, they ditched the idea of building their own stars and it killed the company. If it's your first three years, then I would understand to rely heavily on established names from like WWE, but you should also use those guys to help build and create new stars, and TNA just ignored that idea once that obsession to compete with WWE got to them and started to sign away every former WWE talent, even the ones that were just bad wrestlers with ZERO potential like Orlando Jordan.
