Here are a few suggestions: Wear a fleece or wool hat, it really does help. Wear layers, top it off with a fleece jacket with elastic on the wrists. If sewing for a long time, get up, move and stretch that will increase body heat. Eat iron rich foods if your iron is low. Hot spicy soup, hot tea or coffee. I did all of these suggestions when I had to really cut down on the heat in the middle of winter because of the cost. Hope these help you and anyone else who reads this.🙂

Idea on Markets. If you have a small portable sewing machine to take to market, think about having a small sign reading "WATCH ME MAKE SCRUNCHIES ". Then have a few already cut to size fabrics for them to watch. Of course already have some made of every fabric if they want to grab it and go. Just a thought, but since so many people love to watch you working on YOU TUBE, why would they not love to watch you in person. People are curious. I heard about a key cutter in a shop in the mall that had a sign reading "Wait for your keys to be cut". He changed the sign to "Watch your keys being cut" and doubled his business. People don't like to wait, but they love to watch. Good luck!

OMG, you have a fold-up cart, can you remember what type it is? My husband bought a big garden trolley that's amazing but I just struggle too much to get it in and out of the car before even loading it up to drag it to my stall. I need a trolley like yours and never even thought to look for a fold-up one. If you load your car up during the day it will be warmer and then for those really last-minute makes you can pack them in the morning on your way out. You look so tired but things will settle down soon in your new house once you get really settled into a routine. I'm so glad you got those heaters and if they don't have timers on them you can buy one separately and set it up so your heater starts to heat the room just before your about to wake up so it is nice and cozy in the mornings. I'm going to have to look into finding out how much power my appliances use so I can cut down on the electricity bill. TIP: Closing your blinds around 3pm will help keep the warmth of the day a lot longer and if you're filming in a certain room, just shut the door and keep the sunshine coming in. Windows suck the warmth right out of the house

I'm still watching the video (20 minutes in) and I noticed you use captioning on your phone for Bob's Burgers! Love it when people show they do use the captioning instead of listening. Thank you Taylah! ❤ Now back to lurking & watching your videos. 😍

I just paid a $680 electric bill in an APARTMENT for cooling, but I used to live in a cooler climate, pro tip is to put plastic around the windows (they sell kits for this with the removable adhesive and big plastic sheets, you use a hair dryer to seal it)

Look into a heated jacket they are amazing, I use it ok really cold days outside, camping or when I don't wanna turn the heater on too much. You can get them and most tool shops.

You should get a heat lamp like what they use for baby poultry and reptiles. I don’t think they take much power, they’re pretty cheap, and quite effective.

Those things will suck the power. We use these and a convention heater and for just my husband and I our bill was $1,500 winter bill. My parents house is very old with 12 foot ceilings. The house is made from solid stone its also a huge 5 bedroom house. In winter it is like a freezer in the summer it gets extremely hot like an oven. Mum purchased those inverters and she has the big ones, their power isn't as bad as ours.

$55 stall fee is cheap compared to Sydney. I have paid anywhere from $90 - $160 for a markets stall and that is excluding insurance (I had my own). This was 5 years ago and stall fees are still up there and then some.

When you said massive spider I was thinking spider like the size of some of Australia's big bugs but that little guy is the size of a Canadian garden spider lol. I can remove garden spiders but a truly large spider, like the palm of your hand I would for sure run screaming.

I live in Australia and trust me wen I say the spiders here are not as bad as they are made out to be! You see some but generally they are just huntsmen or daddy long legs which are harmless but yes there are some and also snakes arentvery common on the coasts I live on the NSW coast and I think I have seen maybe 3 my life and none were harmful!! hope this helps! :)

1. ALWAYS visit the market first before committing to a stall. I have made that mistake and you cannot sell handmade goods amongst junk and 2nd hand. 2. Prices will vary on the organisers/venue/popularity. I have paid anywhere from $90 to $160 in Sydney for stall fees excluding insurance. Some markets will allow you to pay extra if you don’t have insurance but you will need to check with the organiser.

A huntsman is the worst cos they are soooo big! i feel ya. but i was giggling watching you cos i knew what my reaction would have been and i would have litterally turned the camera off and froze! my brain takes ages on how the best method is to kill it, which way its gonna go and how not to get to close LOL now i'll unpause the video and watch the rest! 🙂

I hope you dont misunderstand this, I’m happy to see someone so young doing so well on her own. But, why buy such a big house if you can’t afford to heat it, at least the room where you spend most time? You keep mentioning being cold. Loved seeing a glimpse of markets as they’re not a thing where I’m from.

It’s not that I can’t afford it, the split system just doesn’t get into the back rooms, so it’s a waste to try have them on. Which is why I purchased the oil heaters and they have been absolutely amazing and way more cost effective! 😘💞
