TFS! I have made many of these before and I always use wet glue to glue my pages together, so that when you put the tags in, they don't stick to the sides. Thanks again for taking the time to put together this video. :)

I like this better than the zine. Like the fact that you can incorporate pockets in there. Super cute.

Wow! I love this little book and I get most of the procedure! BUT! ...... when it comes to the pockets and the gluing!!! 😬 yikes! I’m on my 3rd piece of paper! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m stubborn though so here I go again! One way to use up the excess stash of paper!🤪🤪😂🤪🤣😂 Thanks for the inspiration, hugs. Maggie ❤️🥰🇨🇦❤️

the first one to make one was Tim Holtz and it was called Valentine mini book. His channel is still alive now in 2022, but is mostly about his products and such. Anyway , ever since then, I've seen MANY people now copy very old videos ( like yours from 2010) and revamp them ....seriously, no imagination! Anyway , Tim Holtz original video is not called what I said before, but I got the idea for the cover from YOU! Thanks Tracy !
@TracysTreasures242 жыл бұрын
I had mentioned the first person I had seen make this was not from Tim Holtz....It was Richard Garay (if I'm not mistaken) that was before Tim made his, because I had seen Tims after....I am sure this was an old idea even before Tim and Richard shared it. I am a fan of Tim Holtz and his products and his teaching❤️. I have even met him 😁 As for Imagination....I think most people share their creations to inspire others to make what they do or get inspiration from us. Thank you for watching, commenting and for inspiring you ❤️❤️

@@TracysTreasures24 You answered....WOW! Thank you. Maybe I worded my comment wrong. I apologize. By the way your channel was one of my inspiration channels, 99% of the others either deleted their channel or maybe even hanged the name, I'm happy you're still active. Back then I was just starting my scrapping channel and never got further than a few videos because of You Tube changing stuff. Anyway, my main channel was a jewelry channel and I even stopped posting on that one. Thanks again for responding.

Hey Tracy! Thanks for this video. I believe it was Tim Holtz's W mini album. I think it is a great gift idea. Thanks. I just love your style of doing it. :)
@TracysTreasures2410 жыл бұрын
Thank you :) No it wasn't from Tim Holtz, it was from a different crafter. I don't think he even makes videos anymore. When I saw Tim's take on this, I was like hey thats like the one I did and seen, lol. I did another search and this may be the tutorial I had seen. It was back in 2009 wayyyy before Tim did his :) 3x3 Mini Book By: Richard Garay

Tracy these are beautiful. Just found this and I want to make some. I am just new to paper crafting and am wondering how heavy is the paper you are using for the inside pages? I thought it might be cardstock - now I'm not sure. Thanks for sharing this.

what kind of paper ?
@minikraut6 жыл бұрын
Hi Tracy, you made this simply AGES ago, but I love it, nevertheless. I have a group of ladies coming over from the neighbourhood from time to time, and I think this may be a perfect project for them. I know you are not crazy about using a computer to create crafts, neither are they, but I am! So I transferred your easy-to-follow instructions into cutting files for my machine and now I can easily create christmas book kits for all twelve of them, and they will love it! Meanwhile, I might do some easter egg hunt booklets - the tags are crying to be hidden eggs, aren't they?
@TracysTreasures246 жыл бұрын
Oh my goodness a cut file that is so cool. I was just gifted a Brother scanN cut and I have only used it a few times, but still find it doesn't do what I want it to...but I know that is my error not the machines, lol. Your friends are so going to have a blast making this and you have done the hard work for them :) I would love to see your books and yes the hidden eggs, so fun!!!
@minikraut6 жыл бұрын
OK, so I made a trial piece ... the scoring needs working on, I may even have to succumb to doing it by hand, as the machine scored lines seem to break the paper too much to hold on for many turning of pages. I had to fix one of the seams with invisible tape. See pics here: imgur.com/a/LRz3t I'll be happy to send you my file in SVG format for your Brother scanNcut, but I'm afraid it will still need adjustments, and I can't create a generic brother file, as I am working with Silhouette. The general layout of your album is so simple - and that is the beauty of it - it's a perfect exercise to do in your program. You will not be able to cut it completely, as the max cutting area is slightly smaller than 12x12 paper. But that's a few snips at the end of the process, when you take your paper of the carrier mat. Will keep you posted on the egg hunt. Hugs from Germany, Stef

i dont know how to ink
@TracysTreasures2410 жыл бұрын
I show it on many of my videos. I use a sponge of some sort, and some ink. Then use the sponge to apply the ink to the edges of your projects.
