Yesterday during the 2014 Ferrari Challenge racing weekend I saw not 1, not 2 but 3 new Ferrari LaFerrari hypercars at Monza Circuit. In this video you could hear the sound of two loud start ups, some fly bys on track and at the end a scene of two of them going through a tunnel. Anyway I still don't like this car.

Bozzy, The Laferrari wins me in sound and function department but it lost me in nomenclature, ("LaFerrari" sounds SOO dumb), its similarity in appearence to the 458, and it's incapability to act more like a road car: The P1, 918 and other hybrids have a PURE electric function where as this car doesn't! If you ride a car for your routine ya might want something quiet, simple and slow, and tends not to vibrate much: Most well built exotic cars could accomplish this with some settings: The Lefarrari may fail this!

I know it could sounds strange but really I'm not able to appreciate it as a whole. I really like the front but then seeing it from the windshield to the back, well it seems to me that has nothing to do with the car you've started to watch a few seconds before. Obviously this is my point of view, everyone is free to think what they want ;)

So LaFerrari is already out in customers hands, yet there are no media reviews of it? Seems fishy. I'm guessing it's not going to be able to match the 918 or P1, and Ferrari knows this, thus no heavy media push.

Ferrari never lends out its hypercars to the media, the only way to review one is to arrange it with the owner. Has been this way since the F40.

***** Not entirely true. Both the F40 and F50 were allowed to be driven by the media - they just weren't allowed to test them together, because the F50 was slower than its predecessor. The Enzo was "not allowed" to be driven by the media, presumably because it was a limited production run and they didn't have a surplus of media cars. Some have speculated it was because the Enzo never ended up actually being as fast as Ferrari wanted. Since the Enzo, the media has still got to drive faster cars from Ferrari, including the F12 Berlinetta - which was the most powerful and fastest Ferrari ever made up until the LaFerrari, and is significantly faster than the Enzo!

For me it is the best hypercar right now, my opinion. I'm in love with the every angle of this car. At high speeds, the sound is like the combination of the V12 and a jet engine!

Oh dang.. that Silver F12 was giving the Le Ferrari a run for his money. Please bring the V12 back to Formula One. The car is a modern take of what I would say the 330/P4 Not exactly, but the car is very beautiful as it is functional for terrorizing nice paved highways, or tracks. I would take one in Black (or red with Red roof).. with bronze wheels, Red Interior, maybe even a skinny green white Red stripe.. very skinny.

I will be a while before any press even sit in passenger seat of these cars. Probably next year before they even allow any kind of test. Some people just do not like losing at anything, that is Ferrari. The big three test is very far away.

Was this Ferrari testing or actually sold vehicles driven by their owners? As usual, great upload! I don´t really like the LaFerrari too much. To me, it resembles the F50 in many aspects. Both F50 and LaFerrari are meant to be something between an F40 and a "regular" contemporary F. roadcar. And to me, that ruins anything, because an F40 is diametrally opposed to being a "regular" road car. My most beloved modern Ferraris are F40, 550 Maranello, 599 plus 599XX and the California. I believe a car needs a purpose: styling, speed, history, cruising ability, razor sharp track driving, easy track driving or over-the-top fun and donuts. The LaFerrari does none of these things really great or let´s say: For every aspect that makes a car desirable to me, there is one that does it better than the LF.

Not a huge fan of The Ferrari Ferrari to be honest, aesthetically it falls short of the P1 and the 918 for me, just looks a bit mismatched and clumsy, plus the name is a bit too egotistical for my liking. Nice video though, thanks Bozzy!
