In Australia you're getting the 2.3L displacement engine, which is a Twin turbos. It depends on the market places and countries, here we're getting the 2.5L displacement, which is a single turbo. Also surprisingly, here the Navarra isn't in the middle range prices in the category, the Navarra is globally the most affordable in the category, and often offering the best prices for the features inside.

As a Nissan mechanic For anyone considering a nav please get them serviced every 10,000km not 20,000km as per Nissans service schedule 20,000km is far too long for any car and the only reason they push them that long is to make it more appealing to business/fleet vehicles and penny saving muppets as it lowers the cost of the vehicle over its lifetime making it more cost effective half the issues they have can be prevented by a earlier service schedule

Hey mate. Im on the sunny coast in Queensland and I've got a S1 NP300 (2016) and have just hit 200k on the clock and still love it. You're dead right about the shitty paint! I swear the use chalk as a base coat! Mine is in metallick fleck black and it gets scratches if you look at it the wrong way. I also had the factory hot pipe leak and got the factory fix, then again 3 months later. Now - because of your video, I have a CRG replacement hot pipe and absolutely love it! I swear it has better response and a hint more power because of it. I also installed a DPF back straight pipe dumping at the rear axel and, as I still have the DPF, its still almost silent. Theres a touch more turbo whistle and it spools up a little faster, but it's no louder with no muffler. Keep up the great videos mate. Love your work!

Having a catch can on the nav is definitely been worth it, they breath heavy! Also another positive about them, they have dash cup holders. Dying trend that should be a must for any car.

Awesome review mate. Had my Nav for 4 years and haven't thought about parting with it, especially when 4wd prices went through the roof (could've got all my money back, including what I spent on mods, and got a bit extra). I did notice went you had the bonnet up, and you may want to look into it, is the pipe that goes from the airbox to the turbo. It is pretty weak and squishes under acceleration. ATI sell a stronger one that I have and has helped.

Solid review.. About 2 weeks late. Just bought an ironman bullbar and got new tyres and couldn't find a good enough influencer to tell me the Razrs were the way to go 😅 Totally agree with the pros and cons list. I was the same, I didn't know if I'd have mine for as long as i have, but I have no intentions to get rid of it anymore. Such a great car!

The bull bar movement is a problem they aren’t meant to move as it’s chassis mounted when you first mentioned the cracked headlight I thought the body mounts are to blame they will have a crush rubber bush all vehicles have them over time they soften I would think when you do the body lift that you should replace the bushes also that should reduce body movement but that bullbar needs to be fixed or replaced they should never move

The only issues I have had with mine after 80k is the ironman bullbar on a hard pull shifted forward, and I ran over a deliniator and it bent my sump. So I put custom offroad bash plates on it. Warranty wise it's never been back since I bought it new, it is an auto as well, tuned with all the right gear. I love it, I really do. I enjoy driving it so much and I have also had a ton of cars.

@jpcaptured799
@jpcaptured799 Жыл бұрын
Hell yea man! Congratulations on your new purchase 🥳 one could argue that any modification from standard can void certain warranties through Nissan. I talk about avoid having a catch can installed if you present to Nissan with a rear main seal leak warranty claim. I'd suggest doing the first 1000k service with Nissan then using your preferred service centre after that. Service the Nav every 10'000k instead of the recommended 20'000k service clock. If you Keep your filters clean and your moving parts serviced 🤞🏼 you shouldn't need to pay a visit to Nissan for a long while. Life's to short not to build the car you want, so get out there and enjoy it mate 👍🏼 cheers for watching ☺️

Hey man. Love the vids. Quick question, does the throttle controller help with quicker shifts? I am REALLY annoyed with having to squeeze the throttle 10% if I want the bakkie (South African word for UTE) to change gears at 2K rpm. Cheers

What intake air temps are you seeing with the CRG intercooler? I’ve got the same iron man bar and I’ve welded gussets to the L brackets that bolt up to the chassis… it’s much stronger and doesn’t bend now when winching..

@jpcaptured799
@jpcaptured799 Жыл бұрын
💯 would buy a D23 again without any hesitation, They are great value for money. I would suggest buying an auto model even if you are a fan of manual Transmissions.. not only are they a tough auto but they also help soak up a bit of "shock" on other parts of the drivetrain. Other than that I would just suggest checking the normal things on a used vehicle.
