What retie method do you use? 2, 3, or 4pt. Your hair looks amazing and the length is definitely goals 😍 👌🏾

Thank you. I do the top. I use 3pt. The loctitian does the rest using 4pt.

Your hair looks great. Is there a difference in look based on the retightening method?

Thank you 😊 . So my understanding is 4 pt makes a tighter loc and 3 pt makes a fuller loc. I honestly have all different types of patterns done because the 2nd loctitian I had said she did a “reverse 4” on the top when it kept unraveling. When I was doing my own full retightening, I did a 3 pt on my whole head. In the end, right now,looking at a complete loc, (from end to beginning) I think it looks the same so….. 🤷🏽‍♀️. I kinda think it depends more on natural hair texture than anything. But I could be wrong. (Sorry for the long response).
