the amount of improvement is crazyyy, absolutely insane! i've checked out ur game and the shop is soooo niceee; i love the sound effects and the movement when you hover over characters to buy!! the mechanic of the green vision (idk what to call it) is really really cool and unique, but i was a little confused when i first played, and a tutorial or brief description would have been nice! i experienced a couple bugs, such as the bot's path glitching with objects like doorways, the main menu cutscene (ish?) not loading in (i just saw me and the other player surrounding in black), and my GUI completely disappearing when spectating (couldn't exit or play again). Besides that, the game has INCREDIBLE POTENTIAL!! keep up the great work, can't wait to see where it goes

Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed the game :D Yeah, I call the green vision night vision right now, but it's not set in stone. And everyone i've played with was a little confused by it, so I'm working on a tutorial (hence the ? button in the main menu!) The monsters were all meant to be animated all the time in the shop, but that was really laggy, so I turned it into a feature! Thanks for the bugs btw, I'll get to work trying to fix those. But with the cutscene one, was it the second round before it glitched?

To explain more of the main menu bug, the first time I opened the game, I didn’t see the little animation and camera movement; however, the second time I opened it, I did see it and that’s why I know I was missing something haha. For the former, I just saw a black room with me and the other player standing next to each other. The GUI was all the same and working as the latter time though. When the other player typed in chat, I could see his message above his head as a chat bubble

I meant as in AI Pathwalking, how to make it kill players, etc. it'd be interesting to learn alongside you, I actually am learning Lua and being able to learn how most games are made is so helpful; I'd be willing to watch how most AI's are made, and like I mentioned it can help players make fan-made versions as well!

@@zemadz7567 Yeah, I'm working on the game most of the day and I've got notifications on, so I usually reply pretty fast haha. I'm not sure about making flat out tutorials, as in the past those kinds of videos were kinds of boring for me to work on, but a video on pathfinding could be fun to make as it was one of my biggest hurdles since I started developing.

I've just started out coding with Roblox Lua, the hard part is not learning the code but not being burnt out failing so much. the most reason I keep going is because me and my friends always find something to laugh about or our imagination having big goals but so little progress. though I bet if me and my friends continue we might just have something playable, but only time will tell. for details so far were just messing with stuff in a base plate world, we have an ai that can path find and some cut scene cameras so far. right now I'm working on how to activate the pathfinding only when the player touches a part, (which also triggers the cut scene) when that's done we are hoping we can start moving onto the rigs cool attacks. for the triggers i was thinking something like local pathstart = (path find script here) if game.workshop.boss_fight.Start.Touched:connect(function() then pathstart (something here?) (end?) through trial and error ill find a way eventually

Personally I never got burnt out (don't know why but I never really get burnt out of anything) but good for you for pushing through! The way I learnt to code properly was finding a tutorial on the kind of game I wanted to make, then, as the tutorial gets more advanced, trying to finish the game without the tutorial. So you learn the basics but then have to try on your own. Trial and error gives you the best understanding of your code! Trial and error also forces you to think outside the box. If you're stuck, and don't know what a certain piece of code does, (let's take "return" for example) then watch a video on it or look at Roblox's documentation and get a full understanding of it. That's how I properly got a deep understanding of code, as if I hadn't failed then I wouldn't have had to learn these new bits of code!

Interesting.. very interesting. I love the characters and the new house design! Im working on a game called find the gear and NO ITS NOT INSPIRED BY "FIND THE" GAMES!!!! Its actually inspired by the roblox starting game where i think you can currently find 7 gears hidden around the map. I think i have made some pretty cool buildings and gears so far.

Hi @TheRedGeekPlayZ! I have some ideas for improvement on your game. For starters, make the lobby music play when you get out of the beta screen. If you don't know why it's not playing, it might be because the settings might automatically turn off theme song. I also don't think you need music when hovering over the characters in the shop, but if you really want it then I would make sure the lobby music tweens out when you are playing the character's music in the shop gui. When the cutscene plays to get into the house, I would have some typing sounds when the player is speaking. You can do this by getting a typing sound and playing it every time a new letter loads in(you can use a for loop for this) I would also make the cutscene make more sense. The character keeps saying that their head hurts but I am not sure what happened. If the player woke up there, I think the character should mention something like that. These are good suggestions! The music that plays in the shop when you hover over a monster is it's soundtrack, so players can hear what it is before buying. I'm not sure why the menu music isn't playing, but that shouldn't be too hard to fix :D

Yeah, when I started that was my favourite game to play, so I wanted to make a game like it!
