Really awesome to see how the “failed” projects contribute to your current one and overall knowledge base/skill. I feel like people say that’s the case all the time, but being able to SEE the proof just hits different. Great video from a great dev!
@JackieCodesАй бұрын
@multitaskcreative as long as your having fun and learning a bunch all the way, I think that's the most important...

Cool to see your progression over the years, as well as what the different types of projects have brought you. I'm impressed with what you've been able to do in just 3 years! Also, seems like it has been a fun learning experience. Maybe I should try out some Godot myself...

Great video! I haven't caught a stream since the Sylren thirst trap days, but Nightward looks really good and like a great step forward building on what came before. Thanks for sharing!

Congrats! The youtube algorithm brought me here... game dev is crazy, painful, and takes lots of time, but it's also very fun. My game is currently in Steam Next Fest, watching people play it is the best feeling.

does Steam have this functionality that tells you if your game is being streamed? best luck with your game, what´s the name?

The biggest challenge with making game in godot or any other engine is scripting / coding .

During a game jam, how do you guys decide on what project you are going to make ? Does one come up with an idea and everybody goes along ? Or do you have some sort of vote ? I'm curious.
@luckyknotАй бұрын
Amazing journey! and best luck on your new games, it seems that you are well prepared to make your first commercial little game on Stream! why Pipong was pulled out of the store btw?

Is there any place i can try or get a glance at Rogue Knight Quest? I'm interested in getting D&D-style mechanics in godot games too.

Uh Godot and that main thread. Makes real time proc gen hard because the tilemap is on the main thread.
@JackieCodesАй бұрын
There's techniques you can use like editing the tilemap before adding it to the scene tree, I may have to dive into these concepts soon if my game hiccups.

You are super talented. I don't know if you have heard of the Lord Jesus Christ, but He put these skills and drive in you to bring people to know Him. Art at the end mostly is vain, but when it could be use to bring people to have eternal life, it's well worth it. Jesus wants you on His team, and I do too. Say this prayer and become a child and worker of the Most High God. Dear Jesus, thank You for loving me, and suffering the death on the cross for my sins, I believe You are The Son of God, the only way to the Father God and eternal life, I want eternal life with You, please save me and be my Master, I'll do whatever you ask me to do because You know everything and You know what's best for me. I pray all this in Jesus Christ's mighty and powerful name, amen
