In fact the Tiago has an engine oil change interval of 15000 km whereas the K10 has a 10000 km oil change interval. That itself speaks volumes about the confidence that Tata Motors has in the product. And it is way way way more comfortable and safer than some cars a segment higher than itself.

I have the first 2016 model and yes there is engine noise which is quite evident especially in inclines with a full load and some niggles here and there but its a good car, seats are really comfortable handling is very good bit of body roll coz i drive 90% in the hills. My biggest gripe by far is that the full 84 bhp 114 nm of torque kicks in only after 2500 rpm so in the hills u have to frequently shift the gears else there is power in the car , it just comes in late. The stereo is just fantastic !!

Glad to know that you are safe. Mileage has been a biggest concern for most of the people. I did met up with one of the subs few months back as he was having very low mileage. After we drove together, he was able to achieve more than 27 on highways. Mileage depends how and where you drive. Before I sold it I was getting 17-19 in city (Home to office and local places).

Rightly said. Be Indian and buy Indian. My previous car was Mahindra Scorpio and now my next most probably would be Tata Harrier. You have used tiago on almost all kinds of roads and it is quite reassuring to know that you have not faced any issues with it. One of the best, precise and meaningful video I have ever seen for car review. For Nexon please use full synthetic oil and get service done in your presence. I used Manza (2011-2017 and clocked 1.37 lakhs kms) and I can relate to what you said for quality improvement over last few years by Tata motors - I fully agree. Ratan jee Tata !!!!

Great suggestion on the service part, I always make sure to get the service done in front of me, even if I have to stand there for hours. After all its our Love!! One question though, after a lot of research, I found that normal oil is more than enough for the conditions we drive our car in. I really want to know your opinion if synthetic oil that important? We know that synthetic oil will be a little more useful for the engine due to its properties but can it justify its price?

Since Nexon is Turbo Petrol where temperature in engine compartment rapidly increases and especially within engine portion you need better lubrication to process sudden spike of fuel caused by surge in Air pressure - this is one area where Synthetic works better. Also as per your video you seem to travel a lot on hills and cold places here too Synthetic will help reduce pressure on engine. Most of the Indians uses mineral oil but logically it should be changed between 6k-7k kms interval but we never do so because car manufacturers sticks with old age intervals of servicing of 10/15k kms - quality of oil drastically reduces so Synthetic oil may retail somewhat quality but Mineral will never last long. I know this is debatable topic because of cost vs. benefits but I prefer Synthetic from 2012 onwards (Manza & Liva which I sold, Punto and Ignis AMT driven by wife) and I found performance has increased significantly and I can do long drives with less burden on my engine. I love my vehicles and would feed them the best even if its not worth from cost perspective - this is main reason behind choosing full Synthetic oil (0W40). For taxies and old cars its better to stick to mineral ones since output may not be so effective and also engine may start leakage (60-70k kms old cars when suddenly switched to Synthetics..). By the way I too had to sell each car when I did buy new one - I echo your feelings bro.

Fantastic suggestion and opinion Brother. I somewhere had a feeling that synthetic is better but people always compare the cost and products output. I am totally aligned with your opinion and I will make sure to feed good nutrition to my Nexon :) When we were doing our Leh trip, we anticipated that engine will not be able to work efficiently due to thin air so we used molly in our Hexa for its engine to work more efficiently. And I really wanted to keep Tiago :) but ..... thanks for understanding that part too.... Keep in touch and Cheers Buddy!!!

I drove is multiple times and I found it as a stable, powerful, well equipped with decent shock observers, with comfortable seats, adequate braking (but needs improvement) and finally a value for money car. Maintenance is poor and mileage drops little bit as engine ages. But I feel Tiago is safest and value for money bet in hatchback.

Hi, I follow your vlogs.... they are awesome. In fact after watching your video I brought Tiago BS6 1 year back. This is my first car and I fall in love with this car. I did Pune - Kolkata - Pune is 2020 December and honestly the stability and the drivability is awesome. I am planing to do Kedar and Badri from Pune or Bangalore once things normalised. Proud Tiago owner since launched means from last 4 years. It's not only safety for what you should consider this beast over swift and grand i10 but when ever you drive it in different conditions you will find it better than swift or grand i10 in many cases. New models have better nvh levels also. If someone use tiago for a week I can challenge that he will never buy swift or neos for sure bc. Within a week one will find out its stability, handling and long ride comfort are better than neos or swift also .

Bro.. after seeing this video, I feel I have made the right decision. I donno how I missed ur channel all these days. But I'm happy now. I'm subscribing u after posting this comment. I'm a Tata fanatic. I was waiting to buy my first car. The day Nexon got 5 star rating for safety, my eyes were on that. I badly wanted to purchase it. But due to budget issues, I bought Tiago XZA+ in Jan 2020 n no doubt this is the best hatchback currently which is in affordable price. I've fallen in love with it. Thanks to many automobile channels like motor octane, Faisal khan. If I had come across ur channel, I would have decided to buy even earlier. :) And coincidentally I've bought the same colour which u had. I wanted Red. But during the time of purchase only white n this chocolate colour were available. I have a driving license but I was always hesitant to drive manual gear vehicles. I was experiencing half clutch problem. Then I decided to go with AMT. This is what I wanted and I was waiting for. And now I've made the best decision. No regrets! The gear shifts are actually good and mileage is also close to 17-19. I am overwhelmed after seeing ur video. Within a month, I drove 1500+ Kms and it was too good. Sadly due to lockdown, now I have been using it only to buy supermarket stuffs here and just yesterday after 3 months, it touched 2500 kms. I wish the lockdown ends soon n I just can't wait to take my car outside for a long drive. Tiago is love ❤️ Like you, after few years, I wish to buy Nexon. I'll follow ur channel and videos regularly. Keep posting anything and everything about Nexon, Tiago and Tata. Stay home. Stay safe bro

Tiago sell karne se pahle mera yahi plan tha. Lagbhag 11 tiago ready thi es May me Leh jane ke liye lakin kafi log backout ho gaye. Abhi humare pass 3 Tiago, 1 Nexon or 1 Hexa hai jo Leh ja rahe hai 17 May ko. Agar May me nahi ho paya Corona ki wajah se to June, July, Aug... Nov talk time hai hamare pass :) Car capable hai jane ki liye lakin sirf ground clearence ka apko bahut jayda khayal rakhna padega, Khaskar, Rohtang pass, Pagal Nala, Khardungla etc pe. Rasta sab jahag pe kharaab nahi hai lakin thode thode se patches hai to waha par apko dhayan rakhna padega. Baki sab badiya hai.

Sir i have purchased Tiago xt model in june 2019 till now 7000 km is running.Bit i have a problem when i apply reverse gear then gear box noise this problem checked by tata service but problem not solved till now now what should I do now

Hello Brother, this was an issue for me too initially, I used to get hard knock sound every time I applied reverse gear. But later it reduced with a little practice. It was a known issue in old models not sure if they have fixed it in new models.

Gadi ek dum jabardast hai ek do quality aur service centers ke issue chorke mujhe kuch problem nahi aya. Mujhe bhi gadi upgrade karni hai iss Saturday jaa rha hoon sonet diesel AT ki test drive lene per man toh nahi kar rha gadi badlne ka kyu ke chote packet me bada dhamaka hai ye... More than value for money hai... Aur iske sath ek alag hi connection ho jata hai... Ye bas ek Tiago owner hi jaan sakta hai. Highway pe stable aur city me light steering with AMT and good FE 12-14 city 19-21 highway matlab dhamaka hai. Agar mene gadi badali in future toh me gadi badalne se pehale khud Pune se Delhi ayunga apko milne ye mera wada rha... ek review toh jaroor banta hai boss 😀 🙏.

Dost I felt really really bad for Tata especially Ratan Tata ji... Bhai sonet gadi kachara hai kachara seats ke naam pe majak de rakha hai shuru hote hi khatam no thigh support nothing... Seat all the way piche lene gya wo half tak hi gaya as compared to my Tiago... Sonet ke windshield ki visibility itni kam hai ke bachon ki car me bethe hai aisa lagta hai... Aur doors omg jaise doors cardboard ke bane hai... Agar koi nexon chorke ye gadi leta hai toh me kahunga usko gadi ki pehchan nhi hai sirf features ke piche andhe ho gye hai sab... Bhai meri wagon r 10 guna achi thi aur build quality me meri Tiago 20 times better hai half price me as I am comparing sonet diesel AT vs Tiago petrol AMT. I am highly disappointed in Indian buyers logo ko hira chorke nakli diamonds ache lagte hai. I am really blessed ke apke videos dekh ke mene Tiago li 🙏.

मेरे पास अभी टाटा टियागो डीजल 2018 मॉडल है और हम इसके प्रदर्शन और माइलेज से काफी संतुष्ट है sirf lower RPM per TURBO lag छोड़ कर. हम नेक्स्ट कार nexon diesel ही लेना चाहते हैं, क्योंकि हमें ऐसा लगता है की डीजल वाला टर्बो किक पेट्रोल कार में नहीं मिल सकता, पर nexon diesel मेरे बजट से बाहर हो रहा है क्योंकि मेरा बजट मैक्सिमम 800000 तक ऑन रोड ही है. हमें ऐसी कार चाहिए जो सबसे ज्यादा वैल्यू फॉर मनी हो, माइलेज अच्छा हो, safe ho, stable ho aur sabse imp उसके साथ वह टर्बो किक जरूर हो lower rpm se hi. मेरा ज्यादातर रनिंग हाईवे पर होता है और महीने में लगभग पंद्रह सौ किलोमीटर का रनिंग है मेरा. अब बताइए हम क्या करें. डीजल कार सिर्फ इसलिए लेना चाहते हैं क्योंकि हमें वह टर्बो kick चाहिए जैसा कि nexon diesel में मिलता है. पर यह मेरे बजट से एकदम बाहर हो रहा है इस का अगर कोई अल्टरनेट उपाय है तो जरूर बताइए. हम कोई पेट्रोल कार भी ले सकते हैं पर उसमें टर्बो होना चाहिए और माइलेज अच्छा होना चाहिए और हम कार ज्यादातर हल्के पैरों से ही चलाते हैं और 5 या 6 साल से ज्यादा रखने वाले भी नहीं है. अगर हमें पेट्रोल कार लेना पड़ा तो उसमें कोई स्ट्रांग रीजन होना चाहिए क्योंकि मेरे पापा हमेशा डीजल कार को प्रेफर करते हैं और वह पेट्रोल लेने से मना करेंगे. प्लीज मेरे सवाल को अच्छी तरह विस्तार से बताइए इसके लिए आपका बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद. Brother, Apka question bahut aacha hai. Apne kafi condition lagai hai :) 8 lakh on road me Diesel compact SUV mushkil hai lakin aap Petrol try kar sakte ho jo ki apke budget me aa jayega. XUV 300 (performance car) ek kafi aacha option hai lakin wo budget se bahar ho jayega or thoda mileage bhi kam hai. Nexon Petrol ek aacha option hai lakin Turbo others Compact SUV ki tarah Bahut punchy nahi hoga lakin overall best car hai or apke or conditions(Safety, steability) me fit aati hai. Dusra, agar diesel hatchback apko pasanad hai to aap Ford freestyle try kar sakte ho. On road base model ke liye shayad apko 8.20-8.30 tak pad jayega or esme apko Turbo kick jarur feel hoga lakin mileage me apko thoda sa compromise karna padega. All the best Brother!!

Hello Brother, thanks for joining our family!! Tat Fog+DRL was after market. I bought it for 1200 3 years back now it is between 600-800. Look of that Fog+DRL is good but through of a fog light is not good. Tata has similar FOG+DRL but its costly, approx 12k

I am glad you liked it!! Talk to at least 3-4 dealers and bargain to get a good deal. compare the insurance online and also bargain in insurance (They have good margin on insurance so they will easily lower it) Tata after sales service was very bad but I survived at that point in time, now they have improved a lot for sure. Find one good service center and regularly service your car there!1 All the best and Congratulations in advance!!
