Pile 3. I inherited my Dad's house, I share it with my brother. I had to move from Spain back to the UK to lived in this house to pay the expensive mortgage, which is going up and up. I have many sad memories around this house as I grew up in an abusive and dysfunctional family. Also, the house is very bad quality, it needs 10s of thousands of pounds spent on it, which me and my brother don't have. But we have managed to make it livable. There were holes in ceiling, things falling down. The house still has a huge mortgage on it as my Dad was left all alone, disabled, and he was a hoarder, no one could get in the house to fix it up. It has all been really horrible. My health has plummeted. And what is worse, my horrid Mother has been trying to get us to give her some of the money from the sale of the house (she left my Dad after using up all his money). Just everything about this experience is truly horrible. IT has made inheriting something a real stress.
