A neat idea for the line set. Though I will say that it's not serviceable.

Hello, thank you for watching. Could you expand on that? It’s the first time I ever tried it. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Well I mean if you have to change out the line set it's going to kind of be a chore. Just make sure you use some zip ties at the end so that no no humidity can enter in. AC service tech had a video about it. How they can create pinhole leaks in the middle of the line sets because of the insulation not being sealed at the end well enough

I've never heard of pinhole leaks in the middle of line sets here in LA. Do you think it depends on whether you live in an extremely humid climate? I'll look for that video you mentioned but if you get a second would you mind forwarding me the link? If KZbin doesn't let you post it you can email me with it. Thank you for info 🙂👍

@@theairconditioningguy not sure how to put a link. But the video title is "copper line set tube corrosion and HVAC refrigerant leaks explained." That makes sense though. As far as the lack of humidity.

I was going to get back to you! 😁 I found the video and I believe that he said the major culprit was that white insulation that was causing that formicary copper corrosion. I appreciate the info though! This is how we improve our skill-set. Now I know not to buy the line set that has polyethylene insulation. He said the voc’s in it create an acid. It might also happen with the black type but he said the white one was the one he personally saw it happen with. Again, thank you for helping me out here. 🙂👍

On one of the mini splits you did your wall penetration to the left of the evaporator coil. Was it because you don’t want to go though the window beam header?
