The seasonal Ethnic Food Festival of Mamani was celebrated on Thursday and Friday during which people came out with delicious Dishes like Thukpa,Popot (Grain Soup), Hrtsrap Khur (Yeast Bread), Markhur, Azoq (Skinn & Kabchay) (Puri), Poli (Pane Cakes of Buck Wheat), Curd, Suggoo (Kash or Pachae) etc.
During the Festival people prepares every item of the above dishes in their homes and gathers at a specific place on early morning of the Last Thurusday or Friday of 2nd Month of Ladakhi Calender Mamani and distributes all the collected dishes among the people peresnt there.
