Yo MLP! Did you hear that the company originally responsible for the Pandora Box, 3A games, packed it up and quit? If that's true, at least they went out on a High note. The Pandora Box 10th Anniversary board finally gave us all the goodness we wanted. Like Marvel Vs Capcom 2 (Finally), aspect ratio switch, and lightgun-shooters (same board as the Retroshooter). I play my *RS* Pandora Box everyday.

How's it going brother, hope all is well. I had a quick question I was hoping you could help me with. So if I was going to copy a PSX Classic build to a flash drive using etcher, do I still need to install Autobleem on that flash drive first or is Autobleem already included on the builds ? I also heard something about a hack that allows the system to bypass the power distribution restrictions on the system so that you can plug the flash drive directly into the 2cd controller port ? Thanks for any help.

I totally bought this from the Mad Little Pixel shop along with a new copy of Ghostbusters remastered on X-Box and it showed up less than 4 days and was packaged better than anything else I've ever ordered online before, the box was a smaller size and the bubble wrap was WELL applied. Granted I live in the same state so delivery was always gonna be pretty quick as long as it got sent out, but still that was damn fast and in a tough undamaged box. Thank You very much good Sir. 2:39 Those suction-cups are dumb. I removed those from mine and put some proper rubber feet there instead. All Good now. Anyway, I love these Pandora Boxes. When it comes to the ocean of cheapo-unlicensed gaming devices in China, the Pandora Box is legit. And the latest Pandora Box 10th gives us stuff like Aspect Ratio switch and Marvel Vs Capcom 2. This is one of the older clones you're playing, likely a Pandora DX clone.

What year was that Pandora's box arcade sticks made? That is using a 25 pin serial cable. Those cables were used on computers that came out in the 1980s and 1990s. I remember using one of those cables on an old Dot Matrix printer we had for an old computer. I don't know why they didn't use a USB C cable to link both arcade sticks. The USB would be faster connection that would supply power and data the 25 pin serial cable can supply the power and data but at a slower rate of speed. I know that not all those wires in that cable aren't used so why have a 25 pin serial cable to connect those joy sticks.

Very recently, in the last few years. As it's a clone of the Pandora Box DX. The serial cable thingy is just for the 2nd stick, has nothing to do with the Pandora box system itself.

It's cheap and they most likely needed a device to use a stock of them on. Stuff like that usually gets used when a company realizes they have a ton of something that is increasingly used less and less, like the ports and cables used to connect these boxes. 😄👍

@KenSch2020 yeah it's probably something like that, but we usually get our stuff from China so it could also be a warehouse full of parts that never got purchased in the first place. Either way it was almost certainly a cheaper option that will still be reliable enough for what it's needed for, there certainly are some parts that just really are too old to be useful now.

Yes, you can use these as Arcade sticks on Pc. That's what the USB ports are for. You can also plug USB gamepads into and play the Pandora Box using a controller instead of the Arcade stick. And internally, the Pandora Box board can be changed out for better versions. Many of these share the same layout for this purpose.
