My server is using autoCraftingDropper instead of autoCraftingTable, but a lot of the info here is still very useful to me. Very much appreciated!

Hey, just wanna say Thanks. I just found your channel when searching for an ice farm and instantly knew i wanted to build yours. I liked the way you do your content and checked out more videos, and i love them all! I may be new here in this comunity, but i can safely say you deserve much more recognition. Your farms/tutorials are great, they cover the whole range of an MC world (early-late game). I'd so very love to donate, unfortunately, with Christmas around the corner and a life of a student, i dont have much to donate. I'll stay up to date with your creations and when I'll get to a better financial situation, i won't hesitate to support you. Thanks again, love the content, keep up the good work

Autocrafters are a must for vanilla minecraft, and i kinda like this design. The only thing that i'm not a big fan of is how you have to use dummy items to get "holes" in the crafting recipe, that feels to me a bit hacky and not very "nice". Idk, maybe it would be cool if we could disable slots, maybe by right clicking them. Idk if that would make crafting too easy, but it feels cleaner to me

All vanilla redstone features have that clunky element. Kinda seems right to me. But that's just my opinion
@JCthe1st Жыл бұрын
Nah it defiantly right the way it is, makes it a more difficult and therefore balanced.
@lukasmiller8531 Жыл бұрын
@@JCthe1st I can understand that you don't want to make it too easy, and I agree it shouldn't be. But if this was vanilla, it would feel more like the devs didn't realise that certain recipes weren't possible and people just found a hacky work around
@JCthe1st Жыл бұрын
@@lukasmiller8531 that’s what like 90% of farms in mine craft are based around, something mojang didn’t think was possible that people found a work around to, this would be a perfect addition to the game.

I really love auto crafting tables, but not until they’re vanilla. Using item scroller (andrewsfork) and a mass crafting tool (andrews’ again lol) feels more vanilla TO ME, because it’s performing the operations using the player, just faster than a human can do it; it’s not a fundamental change to how crafting works. Also, it’s crazy fast. Very nice. I think an auto crafting table is a necessary addition to the game. I’m sad they’re not seen as such at this juncture by Mojang. Very much appreciate your contribution to the space in anticipation of them making sensible decisions! Edit: I think this community, and myself in particular, has an unhealthy focalization on what constitutes “vanilla” and “did they really do it” and so forth and so on. I’m a little upset with how pervasive that thinking has become for myself in my play.

Great video, awesome content. Unfortunately I'm having issues with any build that requires adding and removing spacers. It's weird. I downloaded the world, and it works fine...until I try to duplicate the builds. I tried using Litematica, no love there. So I tried building manually...block by block...no love there either. I even tried building them in your world, but no love. I am bereft of love. lol I'm caulking it up to issues with the mods. Any new builds with spacers fail. But your originals still work fine. The other builds that don't use spacers seem to work fine. So I'm still getting some great ideas from you. Thanks a ton for the video. NOTE: I'm using Minecraft 1.20.1 with Fabric API 0.84.0, Fabric Carpet 1.4.112.

At the beginning of the video i decides to put an autocrafter on my iron farm, at the end of the video i had it torn down, because using non-vanilla features as big as this makes me feel very uncomfortable. I wish mojang would implement this...
@Stromne2 жыл бұрын
Each to his own, I understand the "vanilla" feel. I personally think that the crafting table should have hopper/comparator support like this, but I think Mojang knows it will be complicated to support since the tech community ran wild with it. I mean, even bookshelves got hopper/comparator support

Well darn it. I installed carpet mod and the AutoCraftingTable extension for Carpet 1.4.91 and Minecraft 1.19.3 and it appears that it will only work if cheats are enabled before creating the world. That kind of bites as I was looking to make some major upgrades to several of my farms. It works fine for my creative world and a previous survival world where I had cheats enabled at world creation. Does anyone know different?
@Stromne Жыл бұрын
You can use the Open to Lan to turn on cheats, enable the autocrafter, set it to default on, close and reopen the world to disable cheats, and autocrafting will remain enabled
