I was flying Brittish Airways and Finnair more than once, Finnair was my favorite, very safe, great crew, pilots and food. Once it had to dump the fuel and turn around after an our of flying and we were were met at SFO by about a dozen of fire trucks but landing was perfect, pilot did a great job and got an ovation, it took 3 hours for repairs and we went to Helsinki with no problems. I also was flying PANAM before it went out of business, planes were huge and comfortable.I was flying LOT quite a few times (9 times) and it was good but it had some bad crashes in the 80s.

There is no way pilots on commercial aircrafts rotate too soon. There is a very carefully computed speed (Vr - Rotate) that needs to be followed. The a340-300 is just an underpowered jet, it seems very heavy, when it is not that heavy! The SFO-CPH route is one of the longest SAS routes

@@xShitHeadx Again that’s relatively! They are more powerful than the 737 CFM’s. Is more the thrust to weight ratio! The reason is that they only have to take 25% power loss into account. Where the A330 is 50% power loss.

What powers the pneumatic wheel well assembly and the general electricity for the plane? Is there a generator connected to each aircraft engine? or is there a separate engine-generator combo elsewhere?

While the engines are off there is a smaller engine in the back of the plane called the apu which supplies power until the engines are started after that the engines generate electricity.
