Omg Magiki!! I think they are Italian though,it was common to buy them in shops which sold magazines and newspapers...and they were created by deagostini, it's written on the japanese package too, there have been so many series in years (turtles, penguins...)

And yeah deagostini is an italian publishing house... as for the quality,you're right! They are cheap, as they are not sold in toy shops but in you know in newsagents' shops... and they are thought for kids to play with, not for collectors...sorryfor my English...
