@Ask_Harry I always assumed TA was a British thing that had rubbed off on us?

@@Ragman-s1s yes it would have originated in the UK.. there was mass migration after world war 2 from 1945 to 1972 with what's known as the 10 pound poms which my mother was one of. They paid 10 GBP for a 1 way boat ticket to emigrate from Britain to Australia or New Zealand

@Ask_Harry See, I thought so (because TA doesn't sound that aussie) and im sure I'd heard it more on British TV than I ever did here... Cheers sounds more aussie (even though everyone says it and most likely was even originated by us) yeah both my parents were on those boats from Europe aswell, lucky for them they just didn't know each other yet 😂 (two months on a boat with the old lady would have driven the poor old bloke bonkers)

@janiceni (Xiexie) thank you Janice 🙏 love you too 🤘😘🤘 Aussie/Asians have awesome humour once we earn their trust (I'm an aussie/wog but I live in dominant Asian neighbourhood and let me just say, I LOVE AUSSIE/ASIANS) I eat with yous, I drink with yous, I've learnt a little mandarin with yous, I have done tai chi with yous, just genuinely AWESOME people 👌 (Tsa tsi chen) See you next time my friend (great video btw) 👌 Good girl Fyi, your aussie English is bloody excellent for only 8 years in the country, my parents have been here for like 50 years and still can't speak a FLICKIN word of English 😂😂😂 Omg, we are both RICHMOND supporters (I barely watch it though) Janice look up on youtube comedian ARJ BARKER LAID BACK AUSSIE SWEARING you'll laugh your head off... I also bet we both live around same south East Melbourne neighbourhood I'm the long haird tattoo bogan that bows to all the Asians 😂

The reason red heads would find being called a "ranga" offensive is because "ranga" is short for "orangutan"
